At the 5:14 mark you make a small statement that I think many of us in the hobby need to appreciate. Time is a cost and a convenience . I have a big love for rattle can on jobs because I Can get to it faster I can swap colours faster . Its no cheaper , its not cleaner , but when Time is my largest budget cost its so important. We do not give enough credit to time ( and space ) in our hobby and just recognizing it like this is damned important. thank you.

Lately I've not painted much. I've been overwhelmed by the idea of improving my painting, and a lot of YT painters haven't helped that. They're great, but a lot of their guides and advice on things like highlighting aren't super helpful, they just do it and assume you can just copy them perfectly in terms of techniques. This video (specifically the Roman citizens and He-Man) have really been somewhat of a comfort -- it's the same method I use, albeit with more expertise and confidence, but it still creates a great paint job -- maybe I've been a bit down on myself for no good reason, maybe I'm okay as a painter. Cheers Peachy! I'm seriously considering picking up your spray as one of my two, along with Midwinter Blue.

Definitely never put your own painting down, it can be super overwhelming seeing all these other super talented artists showcasing their skills, but the main takeaway is as long as YOUR happy with you stuff that is the only opinion that should ever matter. And if my videos can help give you that confidence then I call that a win in my eyes. Keep the faith and enjoy your painting 😍👍

Pink is the secret weapon behind the yellow of my Bad Moon boyz. While I love my air brush, I do also enjoy the convenience of a rattle can if I need to just throw a quick base coat on for a few minis.

"Shadowgrave" is actually a game - at least somewhat in the making! It is Frostgrave but with more of a cthulhu mythos. It is by the same author. Check it out!

i use the hycote primer from Amazon, its made in the same factory as the Halfords stuff, grey and oxide red, last 2 cans of black i had were bad though, if i want another colour though i will go colour forge every time, i like the spray on the cans

I tend to prime everything black just because that’s what I’m used to. Having a spray close to the skin tone for models that are majority skin is fantastic

Awesome He-Man. Really love those female minions and they look ideal to pair with some of Mark Copplestone's boiler suited henchmen from the Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang range (think I got them via North Star - I may or may not be planning an underground volcano lair scenario for a spy game!) Love the look of your new spray and always found colour forge to be really good so I'll be sure to get some when it comes out if I can't get round to backing the kickstarter.

Excited for these to make it the states eventually (and I hope maybe bring back drake scale green!). I do a lot of Fyreslayers, so this color is pretty great. I use AP Barbarian flesh spray, and a Vallejo pale flesh for a lighter variant. Peachy spray looks like it could be great to do a darker variant.

Useful video! ..I was a BIG fan of GoR (V1), I do have most of their miniatures range and SP buildings.. I'm sure GoR II is a strong and fun game, but the fact that they removed some of the flavour from GoR to streamline the game bother me a bit too much.. Anyway, I can still play GoR if I want! :) Hopefully we will see your GoR gang soon! ;) Cheers!

Do you have a good method of painting a patch on cloth? That gangs of Rome gave me the idea of having a purple patch on every robe, because 💜purple💜 was expensive and my gang would be poor. I've not seen a good 'easy' way to make that effect though.
