I watched 2 of your videos tonight the beginner techniques one, and the floral wreath one, and i really loved them. I'm just starting to paint and trying to decide which paints to use. After watching a few of your videos, you have given me some great direction. I have tried using Gouache and acrylics, but the watercolor is still sitting in the case. I will getting it out soon to try some of your techniques. Thank you.

I have seen this video so many times you have no idea haha but I have the cheap brushes and I've been meaning to get better ones and this morning I was like "well I love watercolor so much so I'm going to buy good brushes." believe me, i tried my really best and i really practice hard but in the end my flower looks like a chicken's feet :(

Hey, I've been practicing watercolor for 3 years and I still haven't achieved a flower (it looked like a chicken feet too!) - the reason was that I wasn't practicing everyday, I just practice whenever I want to. Since I decided too discard that habit - I practiced everyday, all day. Also, I was willing to do it. I told myself if I want to do it, I can and I will. And now I can paint any flower I want.

You don't have to rush things. Each stroke of a brush recommends waiting and a buttload of patience.

I actually find it to be one of the more forgiving mediums :). If you mess up or don't like something, you can just wet it and lift it out!

I love drawing since I was a little girl, and I found that even as I turned 37 this year, there are still so many interesting things to learn about. I've just finished a 6-month illustration course, and I am still here learning. ;) You're never too old, or too late to learn. When you learn continuously, one day you'll be surprised to see how much you can actually grow.
