Oh Danielle, my heart was breaking for you and Czar when you mounted and got ready to ride -- I was crying with you. It's hard to remember that it was just a year ago you were told Czar's injury was too severe, he'd never recover and should be put down. I'm so glad that you didn't give up on Czar and while he won't be your regular riding horse anymore, he'll be able to run with the other 'boys' and make more exceptional babies for you and the future of the ranch. Hugs to you and Czar. Also, that's why bench seats are important in a truck - it allows for snuggle time with your honey, even if it's NOT cold.

I am so thankful to you & Henson for following your hearts & not the veterinarian's advice to put CZAR down! That would have been so tragic! Thank you for giving CZAR the time & care he needed to get well!! As such, if CZAR was my horse, I would still go very easy on him, as I know you will. Certainly no barrel racing😊CZAR doesn't need to prove himself to you, as you know. I LOVE CZAR & BOTH OF YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Czar is so beautiful. Even when he’s not shining in the sun, those subtle dapples are something. Glad he’s recovered enough for this short ride and will be with mares making babies.

I was once told by an elderly , if you love , care for a horse or animal , they love n care for u same as u did for them. N if u dnt give up on it jus because it got sick or hurt they wount give up on you. That is a pretty horse. Best wishes

I remember when Czar got injured and the vets kept saying put him down. I'm here saying no no no. You didn't and it was a long haul and I couldn't wait for updates on him. He is such a beautiful horse.

The horse is Fine! So, why am I crying? His story just drives home the fact that this country needs hundreds more Dr. Pols. He is from the old school of try, give the animal a chance to make it. He doesn't turn away everything that isn't a guaranteed great outcome.

Wonderful job getting him back to health and back to his herd. It’s a testament to Czars mental will as well to allow them to treat him and keep him locked down to heal. I’ve known horses that come out of 2months of stall rest mentally broken, never the same.

Such an emotional day! I even teared up! I remember when the vet told you that Czar needed to be euthanized after his injury. Proof that love and diligence made him better. I love his dapples in his coat! He is a beautiful well mannered stud!
