A very helpful video, as I have always struggled with painting dappled grey horses. One minor question, as grey horses seem to have been ridden by trumpeters to make them stand out, what colour horses would the Scots Greys have used? Steve
@lokigreathall15016 жыл бұрын
Steve, firstly thank you for the kind words and to answer your question there is always an exception to the rules and the ScotsGreys were entirely mounted on greys regardless of rank or title to my knowledge and all the references I have .

Really impressive. You must be properly fed up with painting horses by now. 😂

Thanks for another gem to be saved for future reference. The finish you have created is very nice indeed. I seem to remember that you said that you put the riders on the horses for painting, but you have painted the horses first in the vids. Do you now move the rider for painting or leave him mounted? I would be worried about spoiling the horse as I can be a bit ham fisted sometimes. Do you have a method for painting the riders dismounted? Best wishes for Christmas and New Year. Keith
@lokigreathall15016 жыл бұрын
Keith to answer you question in brief I can paint the riders attached to the horses or separated, I will explain further in my next video as to my logic on that very point.
