Painting a 28mm American Civil War Confederate infantry officer with paint triads

Hello everyone and welcome to my latest video.
A couple of months ago I demonstrated a way to paint an American Civil War Union officer with paint triads, and I have at last got round to the Confederate side. This video features a plastic Perry 28mm miniature from the Confederate infantry box set. I hope you enjoy it. A list of paints used is at the bottom of the description.

Halford's grey primer with zenithal Colour Forge Matt White
Blue-grey triad: Wargames Foundry Confederate Grey Triad
Slate grey triad: Wargames Foundry Rebel Grey Triad
Black triad: Army Painter Matt Black, Vallejo Panzer Aces Dark Rubber, Vallejo Model Color Neutral Grey
Skin triad: Army Painter Tanned Flesh, Barbarian Flesh and Corpse Pale
Hair triad: Vallejo Model Color Flat Brown, Flat Earth, Light Brown
Yellow triad: Vallejo Model Color Flat Brown, Vallejo Game Extra Opaque Heavy Goldbrown, Vallejo Model Color Flat Yellow

Looks great and fantastic Job but you forget the Rankstripes in the Collar for Lieutenant, Captain or Stars vor Major or Colonel. 😉

Nice. Every now and again I feel like diving right into the ACW but I somehow manage to get dragged back on to Napoleonics every time!

Love all your videos very helpful and informative, what size brushes do you use for your 28mm figures.

Thank you very much. I do most of my painting with a Kolinsky sable size 1, but also have a 2 and 0 to hand. For metallics I tend to use synthetic brushes.
