@eleojay4015 жыл бұрын
Hey, Joe! Thanks for all the videos you have posted up through the years. It would be great if you could make a new one about additive colormixing, and how you use that knowledge to paint almost everything with a strong sence of realism. The old tutorial was a little bit "messy", so thats why Im asking. Keep up the great work! Eleo Jay

Hey Joe I saw your idea with the toy and thought I'd make a suggestion. You know those silicone rubber brushes that's used for brushing on sauces (like BarBeque sauce on chicken on a grill) !? I saw this idea once in a video with a paint pour, or possibly using that concept with a regular paint brush, anyway hope this helps. Love to watch your videos!💖 Later Joe

My hands shake a bit, especially whenever I try to focus. This affects my drawings a bit. Do you have any tips on getting over that physical barrier? Is painting easier, in the sense that it's more forgiving?
@crossie885 жыл бұрын
Own it! Incorporate it into your work or Painter's Mahl Stick? You could also try drawing with your wrist and elbow more for flowing lines also turn the paper so that it's at your most comfortable and stable position for each mark you make. I'm sure there are other tips and tricks too but that's all I can think of for now :)
@muraljoe5 жыл бұрын
I relate to your struggle with that! I recently stopped eating sugar. Not strictly. It's just not part of my diet now and that has helped me not to be as shaky. I still shake though. Painting is easier for me because the shakes seem to happen more at rest than in motion so I've trained to hit my target with the brush without stopping my motion and my shakes are not an issue.
@blackandwhite17565 жыл бұрын
@@crossie88 thanks didn't think of that way
@blackandwhite17565 жыл бұрын
@@muraljoe thanks Joe. I have been on a little to no process sugar diet from January. Haven't started any other pieces since though.
@personita10515 жыл бұрын
Don't look at your hand when painting, when you look at your hand or your brush it shakes, you have to look at the surface you are painting.

It's now April 24, 2021. I'm not getting your videos in order. I could go to your channel and just look at them. But, I have many, many channels I subscribe to, and I usually just go to whomever comes up daily in my KZfaq feed. I'm a subscriber to KZfaq. It's not too expensive at all, for what you get imho. NO COMMERCIALS at all. That is the main reason I subscribed in the first place!! But also, the thing that upsets many people, seems to be the thing I like a lot. Funny. GoogleTube goes out and finds content based on what I've been looking at. Yeah, it tracks me. So far the sky hasn't fallen in on little ole me. Fingers crossed... And I've found many, many content creators that way, like muraljoe!! Would I have found him anyway? Probably, or possibly. Who knows? I don't think I would have found all the amazing, creative folks I have without YT looking, too. Am I deluded? I would imagine so... But, I'm deluded WITHOUT NO COMMERCIALS! It's a quiet delusion. The best kind, for me :) HAHAHA
