Hey guys!
The time has come to get our tv off of the floor LOL. Matt has been putting in the work and it was time to upgrade his media space. We ended up partnering with Wallplanks once again and installing an amazing slat wall to accent our 85" tv. We also had to install some much needed storage and went with some Home Depot cabinets and custom fireplace. We'll go into more detail later but couldn't wait to share the space with you.

👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Amazing job, I think those type of wood designs are so beautiful. I did that installation to my wall behind my TV in my living room. I did not do the complete wall just certain areas. I uploaded a video of myself doing it but I have since added more to it since then. I did go on Wallplanks website but what I wanted was on back order. I am so impatient when I want something I want it now so I just went ahead and went to Home Depot and bought some thin slats which cost me about $80 in material because I just wanted to do a little section of the wall. your wall is stunning. 👍🏽

I needed this video‼Our basement needs a refresh from when it was built in 2006. My guy wants a man cave and I want an airy bright basement. I do like black as an accent and feel like our house needs more black to modernize it.

Hi TGAC I’m speechless… you both have taken me out of my paint color comfort zone for sure…If you keep your sectional some additional flare to collaborate with your color theme… could be reupholstery. Think 🤔 about it.. Peace/Love❤

Thank you. All it takes is making one bold move. If you don’t like it you can always paint it back. It’s only paint. I thought about reupholstering The couch but it’s worn down it really needs to be replaced. My kids went hard on it lol.

Beautiful finish but there is a way to have fire ambient directly into the TV or you can download any videos of fire place and make it run through the smart TV, they are good enough to do that, now you may need a fire place ambient while watching tv lolol 😂🤣😅 funny to criticise you own take, good Job again

Thank you. Yes, we’ve used the fireplace displays before but they don’t provide heat so this was a good in between. My favorite is during the holidays when we have the fireplace on and a nice winter scene.

Thank you. The color is Broadway Black by Behr. The fireplace my husband built the frame and installed an insert by Touchstone and shiplapped around it. We will make sure to go in depth in a basement series after the holidays. Trust me we’re not finished yet.

did you build the fireplace thing? if yes, what kind of wood was used to build it. if not, where did you buy it from?

My husband built it. We used prefab cabinets, and shiplap. Not sure of the wood he used. It was just pretty much 2x4 for the frame.
