Until this day I am still astonished by the fact that you turned plastic models into something very realistic, rusted metallic and looks so battle damaged, I like this channel a lot when I discovered it

you don't get tetanus from rust. you get it from animal shit. old farmer logic being, if something has been outside long enough to rust, it's been outside long enough to accumulate shit dust, thus tetanus

@@schlomoshekelstein908 not necessarily animal shit. the dirt does also contain bacteria unfortunately thus if there is rust and dirt around, be sure that there is tetanus bacteria saying hello.

Hey Night Shift love your videos man. Been modeling since I was like 8yrs old, now 66. With all this Covid19 stuff I had a lot of time on my hands so I started modeling again after about a 30 year layoff. In the past three months I have built six models. Thanks to your videos they are probably some of the best that I have ever done. Working on an E100 right now. Thanks brother.

I really like that you're not using clear varnish after every step. People keep asking me when I use them or they suggest me I should use them. But I never did and don't see why I should. So with you being a far better modeller than I am it is good to see that I'm not the only one that skips the varnishing steps.

Couldn't agree more with the method you've used here. The lack of texture is one element that gives away points for authenticity since the appearance must be modeled using dimensional media that lends a 3-D effect rather than just a faux finish recreating only color. Thank you.

Steps back from painting 1/16th Tiger 1 exhausts and fitting them. Looks at them with quite a bit of satisfaction having used quite a few techniques from Mr Night Shift and others. Looks at KZfaq. OK, there will be another Tiger to practice on. Really like the results you got and another technique to use. Thank you.

Nice job! I have been working with pigments and used them to do the exhausts on a Neubaufahrzeug. They came out reasonably well, but I like your effect better.
