I absolutely love this illustration! You've truly managed to capture the relaxing feeling of this character. Someone else that helps me calm down is the Norwegian artist Aurora. I adore all of her music, but the song 'A different kind of human' just... feels magical. It truly feels like a mother figure encapsulating you in every ounce of love on this earth. It's so peaceful to listen to.

The details in the painting had me twitching my fingers, I want to see all of them up close! The lofi hip hop girl has been there for a very big part of my life, and when I'm taking a break from getting my work done, I just watch the imagery. The dreamy vibes just get me thinking about a certain kind of feeling that signifies simple, yet intricate. That's the best I can describe it. My favourite song is Gill Chang x Wolfe - Feels Right. I think you can find it on SoundCloud. I'll leave a link if I can find it.

Idk why but the song is nostalgic 😂. It brings me back to sixth grade when I truly discovered music. And I totally get your description of the lofi girl. When I do paintings I'll stop to rest my wrist and I'll just stare at the video if the page turning and how everything comes together. It also reminds me of Studio Ghibli 😊.

As someone who struggles with autism on a daily basis, I recommend the song "Time in a tree" by Raleigh Ritchie (Grey Worm from Game of Thrones). Sometimes you just need to disconnect from the world and as someone who grew up surrounded by nature, being elevated and disconnected from everything was such a huge help. Life gets overwhelming really fast and I'm glad to have a great support network. I hope everyone in the comments has something like that or is blessed enough to find it.

I know this video is from years ago, but just wanted to say this was so entertaining but also relaxing to watch! The painting turned out so beautiful and I really appreciate seeing so much of your thought process throughout it and hearing about your first solo exhibition. Not so much of “favorites” type of person, but I do prefer listening to game sound tracks specifically Orchestrated Recreations of them! It just puts me in the right creative mindset to start creating worlds and stories through my art like nothing else can, especially those songs made for Breath of the Wild. 😌

My newfound favourite song to relax to is 'Reborn' by Kanye West and Kid Cudi. It just takes away the worry of always having to be perfect and making no mistakes. You don't have to do everything. Enjoying the journey is enough. Hope you're enjoying your time in Amsterdam.

the finished piece looks amazing! i also like to listen to in love with a ghost. their songs are very calming and brings a sense of nostalgia to me and sometimes i cry at the thought. my favourites are 'flowers' and 'i was feeling down, then i met a nice witch and now we're best friends'.

I hope you read this :) I love painting with water colors and when I have art block i have it for months and luckly today I came across your channel and this is my first time watching you, and let me tell you I am watching my art block packing to go. I just forgot how painting with watercolors felt like and the excitement of buying watercolor for the first time. And so today was the day that I got out my watercolors and painted, and let me just tell you I was so happy hat I clicked on your video...you INSPIRED ME!! And while I was painting I listened to my favorite relaxing music and it's "this is home" by cavetown and it was perfect!! Thank youu💕

the song i relax to is epiphany by jin (bts), the slow ballad makes me let all of my troubles and worries go and make time for myself for self love and appreciation.

My fav song to relax to is definitely Arctic by sleeping at last. Their songs in general are so beautiful I love all of them. The drawing is gorgeous btw like wow I love stuff like this so much

I just discovered your channel, and honestly, I think I’m addicted to how you paint. I myself am an aspiring watercolour artist, and the way you create, and the style you have thoroughly inspires me. My favourite piece to relax to is Gymnopédie No 1, I loved the piece so much I even learnt to play it on the piano!

The girl I haven’t met yet. A low fi track that’s honestly helped me through so many late night studies and late night thoughts about how I’m living my life. You’ve probably already given the painting away, but I just came to say this the first video I’ve seen from your channel. I’m in love with the gold leaf... I’ve always wanted to try it!! And for my soothing favorite song, I love listening to “say you won’t let go” by James Arthur... idk what’s so special about that song, but it’s always so calming to me :)
