Clearly now he's painted all the tyranids he owns, there's only one more step to take? BUY MORE MODELS! 😂

Thanks to your tyranid videos I finally achieved organic looking flesh for my tyranid army. Always thought it's too hard to do without an airbrush but that feathering and covering it with streaking grime really worked for me

I'm a fan of the 24 paint challenge videos as well, but as a father of 3, a husband, with a full time job, etc. etc. etc., it's nice to see someone out there who hobbies like I try to hobby: around family commitments, whenever possible, and through exhaustion. Truly inspiring.

Glad you enjoyed it and that it was helpful. You always should try to make some time for yourself, family, kids and work are important but if you don’t put a little time aside for yourself you’ll go crazy. Thanks for watching, it’s really appreciated

Thanks for sharing and also showing that real life comes first. Important thing to remember as many cannot do the marathon sessions that some professional painters can do
@rgbminiatures5 ай бұрын
You’re welcome. There’s more important things than painting toy soldiers, family comes first. A hobby should be something you find time to do when all the important things are done. But it is good to find time just for yourself too. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment, really appreciated.

I really liked how these turned out, great job. My only critique is the bases read as the same colour as the models, which makes sense for tyranids adapting to the environment, but washes the models out a bit. A bit of warm-tone pigment powders would be a quick and easy way to seperate them.
@jtrain992611 ай бұрын
I'm also doing basically this scheme for my Nids, black carapace with off-white flesh, glad to see if looks really striking and effective.
@rgbminiatures11 ай бұрын
It was really just for simplicity and to keep it quick, I like how they look but I can always go back and add more to the bases at some point. Thanks for watching!

Firstly great vid and like the scheme, I've started a Tyranid army that's based off the Leviathan scheme but changed some colours. It funny as you got a similar situation to me I've got two young girls and a heavily pregnant wife while I'm trying to find time to paint between FT work and family life lol

Also could you post a list of the citadel colours you've used? I checked your other videos and you mention them, but if it was in the comments it'd be much appreciated. Good job!
