In this video I paint the Heavy Intercessors from the Killteam Pariah Nexus box as Ultramarines using the 'Eavy Metal style.

Awesome tutorial! Vallejo model color Dark Blue looks great for Ultramarine base color. Thanks for sharing!

Glad it was helpful! The Vallejo line has some really great paints

Great tutorial, love how you showed the full process with timelapses rather than cuts, so frustrating when painting tutorials go "oh next i'm going to do this colour... and here it is finished" lol. fantastic paint job too, i'm going to give this a go! :)

Thanks! Glad I could be of help. Main take away I had from this project was how much patience is required trying to paint in this style. Between the recess shading and edge highlighting on ridiculous amount of panels on these big boys it takes a very long time. Good luck on yours!

Amazing work man, not only the figs but also well made video. Thanks! One question from a begginer, what color primer did you use?
@giantsdenminis8727 Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I tend to just stick to black 99% of the time. I usually use Vallejo black primer through an airbrush since it saves so much $$$ over GW primers, but Chaos Black is the next best thing out of a rattle can

Hi! Could I give you a tip? You painted the eyelid of the sergeant as his eye. The eye is fair small and inside that cavity. It is quite difficult to see and paint it. I made the same mistake many many times.

Thanks! Eyes are something I’ve always struggled with since I have pretty shaky hands

hi. Witch products do you use for sand on base? thx for answer:)
@giantsdenminis872710 ай бұрын
I tend to go back and forth between texture paints (Vallejo is the best bang for the buck in my opinion) and plain old play sand from the hardware store or beach

Thanks for the kind words, I took a bit of time off with some new babies but am hoping to be back to making some content here pretty soon. Unfortunately I did these ultras as a one off, but I am going to be working on a small blood ravens army soon so may try to get some videos up for those

Does amazing paint job, doesn't drill barrels. =\

Whatever it’s such a minor thing
@giantsdenminis8727 Жыл бұрын
Ha thanks, but I can get a bit lazy on the barrels. I ended up giving these ones away after painting them so didn't put too much forethought into that

Great tutorial I'm having a hard time getting the blue armor to look correct. I feel like macragge blue always looks too dark when I base with it
