I am 70. Figure skating is my favourite sport , watched and followed it all my life. Katie and Sergei are and will always be my fa ourites. They were one in body and spirit , it can be seen and felt. They were special. The loss of Sergei is immeasurable.

Шла война в Авганестане, людей ловили на допинге но никому и в голову не приходило унижать спортсменов лишая их гимна и флага. И США и СССР вели войны но спорт оставался вне политики. А сегодня запад оборзел по полной програме.

I don't love this couple. I'm in love with them simply in love with them. Actually I can watch them skate all day. This couple seems to be perfectly matched and everything they do including their looks. Both are so much very good looking it's just heartwarming. And later on in life their daughter was just too precious to speak of. God bless them for the loss they endured losing Sergei.

selezneva/makarov should have won bronze. but of course the judges would never have allowed a sweep. which is always hurt selezneva/makarov as the third soviet pair

Seleznova/makarov should have gotten the bronze

They placed 3rd in the Long Program. It was Makarov's fault that they didn't win that bronze with the messy fall in the Short Program that left them in 7th after the Short.

@@3Axel1996 seleznova/makarov placed 6th in short, and 4th in long. Had they placed 3rd in lp, they would have gotten the bronze. Just to set the record straight.
