This is very helpful if it is just changing clutch, quick turn over. It is tight though, having the room is beneficial. Plus the throw bearing helps lengthen durability. Well, seeing how she is already opened, and with the condition of the clutch, just change all the seals and inner main seal bearing, why wait till later just for those. What the hay let just take a look in that transmission just to make sure all that grinding and rattling was only the clutch. Wait, who this coming down the road...... This guy...... well... drop the oil pan. This just showed up with the oil pump crank bearings pistons and rings. Well, I'm in to deep, I rode her hard 240k deep. She be needing what I'm putting in. She been reliable for me and I treat her the same but for real if you trying change your clutch maybe even an upgrade, this is indeed the video for you. For anything else, wouldn't an engine lift just hiest the motor out of the bay with subframe still attached?

My brother in law just dropped off a 02 Honda Civic in my driveway has ac and engine is strong. He just gave it to me because he didn't want to spend$1,100 at the mechanic shop to replace the clutch. I just bought one for $100 and I'm going to do it myself and have a 3rd car. Maybe I will keep it or sell it dunno yet.

This actually how many Honda dealerships do it in Europe. Charging you $$$

the sub frame is like 4 bolts it does suck though to do on the ground thats whats going on with me i need a new clutch a lift would be great

I would just take subframe down because then I dont' have to remove axle. It's only 4 bolts to remove subframe. lol. Then you can clearly see what you are doing. To make sure everything is mating up correctly. Make sure everything is clean. Make sure you can properly regrease everything. And also make sure you bolt the pressure plate up evenly with the star method to make sure you don't warp it.

You forgot to apply locking device on the flywheel. It's clearly visible when the clutch was reinstalled the flywheel was moved a couple of time. This is actually can mess up the timing.
