The grey knights lore has to be one of the best in all of 40K. You literally have a man ( very powerful man) but still a man, only equipped with a sword and a word (demon name) and to go out and fight something filled with warp power

One of the men of iron and a squat shows up to the golden throne. They see an ancient symbol 30AMP, Squat reaches into his coat pocket and hands his Metalo Compadre a copper coin . Robot laughs and puts the coin in the throne starts humming . Squat says it's ok to unplug that now.

As a newbie to warhammer at the beginning of the year I decided to look into the lore and background of warhammer 40k between to you, Boldermort and luetin09 I have now started painting and collecting Grey Knights while leutin is great for the scientific explanation you my good sir are amazing at the story telling and immersion of the lore. As of June I bought my first kit of paladins and have bought a few other kits. Thank you for your passion and enjoyment of this game and your continuous spread of said enjoyment.

Thank you for seeing the Grey Knights in their rightful place as equals to the Custodians. I think all too often people forget, that while the Emperor personally crafted the Custodians, the Grey Knights have a part of him that no other warrior can boast of, the very genetic and spiritual essence of the god of mankind. And they shall be there at the end times, defending him alongside his personal guards and returned loyal sons, and in the face of the apocalypse they shall know no fear.
