Truely speaking if anyone one understands the whole story you will also understand why hamas did what they did. There is no justification to any killing of innocent people including what Hamas did. I think the blame is on the Israel regime who has been using horrific violence against innocent civilians causing a lot of suffering towards their own civilians . There must be a way to stop all this violence for peace to rain not only for them but for the whole world. We all need to do our part in this. One love ❤

But the Palestinian people rejected a proposal to have a Palestinian country in 1948. They then attacked Israel days later and lost. They have been attacking Israel ever since.

@@donrasumssen3213 Arabs have lived on this land for over 1000 years. 86% of the population was Arabs. Only 13% of the population was Jews. And these countries that don't own this land came in and want to give half the land to the Jews. I am sure if this is done to you, you would be complaining too. At that time, Israel had the weapons from the west and was already massacring Palestinian civilians. There was the Al-Dawayima massacre. The attitude of the Israel was like these civilians are not important just like how German treated the Jews. So even if they formed two states, it is almost certain that Israel would have eradicated the 50% of the Arab population in the Jewish states and then when Israel need more land will find some excuses to invade the Arab state as well.

Dear Israel and its supporters, The events of October 7th were indeed a tragedy. The loss of ANY innocent life is tragic and heart-wrenching. And the desire for justice a visceral reaction. But does this desire for justice justify injustice to others? Please consider the following: What if Hamas had been hiding beneath Israel instead of Gaza. What if they had crafted intricate tunnels beneath Israeli homes...Israeli synagogues...Israeli schools and Israeli hospitals. And what if the government of Israel said that the ONLY way to defeat Hamas was through the destruction of all their hiding places. Would Israelis stay silent as the homes they lived in were bombed and destroyed, as the synagogues they worshipped in were bombed and destroyed, as the schools their children attended were bombed and destroyed , as the hospitals that cared for their sick and injured were bombed and destroyed. If the Israeli government cut off the Isrealis' food, water, and electricity stating that it was the ONLY way to defeat Hamas, would the Israelis stay silent? If the Israeli government bombed the places where Israelis seeked refuge away from the horrors of war, stating it was the ONLY way to defeat Hamas, would the Israelis remain silent? If they heard desperate screams of their families from beneath the rubble, would the Israelis still stay silent? If they saw the bodies of thousands and thousands of their children blown up into smithereens, would the Israelis still remain silent? If they saw their surviving children screaming and crying with gashes and burns across their faces, their chests and their backs and freshly amputated limbs with no medical supplies to cover their fresh wounds, would the Israelis still stay silent? If the Israeli government bombed the very ambulances that carried their injured, stating its the ONLY way to destroy Hamas, would the Israelis still stay silent? When the death toll of innocent lives would exceed the tens of thousands, would the Israelis still remain silent? If those who protested against the methods used by the Israeli government, saying THERE MUST BE A BETTER WAY, were labeled as terrorists, antisemites, imprisoned, beaten or killed by the IDF, would the Israelis still be silent? I agree with the Palatinian Ambassador, but Palastine and Israel need together a one state solution of total equality from the river to the sea, and one that is governed in a totally secular way. There can be no distinguishing between races, ethnicities, religions, colour and so on. Secular and 100 percent equality. No other way will suffice or be workable. Vijay Prashad is right.
