26 күн бұрынAMF Vs Palm bract. Ok the multi-purpose knife and the very multi-purpose palm bract, not to be disregarded if in the tropics! Used to kneel upon, to cut food upon to shelter from the rain, to carry water in etc. etc. the limit of uses is the limit of your imagination. You will need a sharp knife or a sharp machete to cut them.

Interesting pommel. Is it hollow? Does it unscrew? Looks like a military knife, but I cannot place it. Holes in the guard too. The handle says Extrema Ratio.

They made this as a sort of tribute knife to the old Gerber BMF. That Gerber u may remember (if you know it) has a sort of spongy like grip made of Hypalon -that indestructible stuff they still make inflatable boats from and my good old CB radio power mic cable out of which is yonks old but still no signs of perishing LOL! Ye it is and ER knife, no the pommel is sort of hollow if you count that it has a screw through it securing it to the tang. It's a pretty thick tang and i dod make a video about this some years ago with a total strip of tis knife, maybe I'll do it again. It can really take a beating and I've had it in the jungle many times

@@willieboy3011 Yeah, it's some classic now. I saw a new one for sale way back in 2000, was working in Tokyo and it was in the shops main showcase, it cost a small fortune back then as i think it had already become a collector's item LOL. and NO, I had no intention of buying it then.
