I lived in Paler Woods for a few years when I was teenager in the 90s. One of the things that was interestign living here (and in Indian Village) is how the people who live in these homes treat them as more than a home. While snootyness is a big factor, but the people appreciate these homes as works of art and history, and everyone's hobby is taking care of your home. You know how some neighborhoods get about Christmas decoration comeptitions? for us its was the annual open house...think Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous on FULL display. People would wash their cars and display them out front, people woudl wear their minks and pearls and tuxes to show their homes to people. Thanks for the nostalgiac video.

Outsiders are always shocked on the amount of housing we have. People forget Detroit use to be a very rich city. Those houses are still there.

The architecture in Detroit is beautiful, reminds me a lot of the classical architecture in Europe. It's a shame that the buildings are being lost to time.

Ever since Detroit became a one party city, the entire city has gone to hell. Yet, the residents keep voting for the same party that keeps them down, again, and again and again and again and again.

I wonder what they would they say if you told them that a couple of residential enclaves in Metro Detroit like Grosse Pointe Or Bloomfield Hills are so wealthy that they both have a higher average per median income than they do in Beverly Hills!lol Everyone thinks Detroit and it’s Metropolitan Area are garbage. That couldn’t be further from the truth💯

I would love to buy an investment property in Detroit. However, it's so hard for me to even visit my home city.

suiterd62 Do you think he cares about that ? He's clearly a racist, he doesn't care if she's articulate and talented, the fact is she's black.

"prestigious neighbourhoods in detroit" - prestigious and detroit don't go in the same sentence
