I could tell you stories of grandeur and horror about the beautiful homes of Detroit. My friend owns the home behind the Henry Ford home. Mr Ford was friends with Thomas Edison and built a home for him directly across the street from his own. He used glazed white brick for the build, and when Edison was presented with it, said, "It looks like a toilet!" Off the side of the Ford mansion to the west, (to the left in the picture), is a park which was once his yard. Nearby is a house Michael Jackson once lived in, with the remains of a mini railroad in the back yard. The Ford mansion is only a few blocks from a beautiful Catholic cathedral. The bells echo through the neighborhood.

The house with yellow shutters....I was all through it with the owner, a school administrator trying to renovate while living in a trailer in the back yard with his wife. Place was stuffed with their belongings, almost no room to work. Wife got murdered, husband took the rap (I personally don't think he did it, probably just convenient to close the case). House sitting there ever since. Been through the stone porch house too (with the guys in the front yard) and some of the others. Spent 35 years in Detroit. No more.

That's a very frustrated giggle. It's not cute and innocent.

With enough money, yes.

Actually, no. Complete historical buildings have been dismantled right down to the individual bricks and reassembled elsewhere. Everything is numbered to ease in reconstruction.
Nice video, except the loud giggling was so annoying n rude while the Man was trying to explain things n share his Awesome Historical facts. I could not watch the whole video regretfully due to the female's giggling, laughing n chiming in constantly. What a shame. It ruined a nive video. Please stop all the noises next time, thx
