Palworld has taken the (pal)world by storm! Who knew that a Pokemon knockoff would be popular?? Is your computer up to the task??
Palworld is the most popular game in the PC world right now. Absolute astronomical numbers in terms of player count. Breaking records left and right. It's a pretty difficult game to run without modern hardware, but it can look pretty good. I hope they improve the menus and split up a few settings from each other, but it has essentials like a field of view slider! Let's take a deep dive into the settings and see what you need to turn down to get the highest frame rate!

Camera shake is active when another pal uses a big move, most notable when two enemy pals in volcano land fight eachother.

Great video but the DLSS option is greyed out for me, looked up some stuff to apparently fix that issue such as updating my Drivers or Verifying Game Files but it’s still greyed out

Hey I’ve been reading that the game pass version doesn’t support dlss yet, hopefully it’s added in a patch soon!

1060 3gb, 8gb RAM . Early game i got 60 fps, soon to middle game or enter scenery with red + orange around Penking and Anubis i got drop FPS to 10. Now idle at level 40 with a 4 floor tower I got 30 if static and 10-20 if moving. (They said If I got near tower you got drop FPS really low)

Those areas a buggy and something is killing framerate. Left of penking boss on beach lags. Desert with anubis boss lags... like whole area (if you simply turn camera to the forest the fps problem is gone) Bamboo groves also is not fps friendly. South of bushi boss lags. South west on beach with castle lags (from cat boss) I think its a issue with asset placement that kills the framerate or a raid trigger being buggy (you will never get a raid on that beach).

I've noticed significant performance reduction when a raid starts. I've been harassing my bud who has us set up on his server to turn off raids and he refuses, even tho we're setup on base locations where raids can't get to our base. Sometimes I hate ppl...

as soon as you have a somewhat big base graphgics settings wont matter as your fps will drop anyways. Im running a 5950x + 3090 and when im in base i am stuck at 20-30 fps xd

how about cpu impact?aren't shadow+view distance mostly cpu settings,like in the video we see the impact of view distance isn't much but that's because you have a high end cpu which pretty much brute force any impact the settings may have on a mid/low cpu

I play on FXAA and ALL MAX on 4090 and 144hz 4K monitor and 60 FPS lock for beter power consumption of 4090 from 380w(200+FPS) to 130W just by lock FPS.

I have a HP Pavilion 15 gaming laptop that I bought a year ago with a RTX 3050 and 16 GB of RAM and a AMD ryzen 55 600H processor with radeon graphics, but it doesn’t matter what setting I have on, I still notice a massive FPS drop with something between 15 to 35 FPS, and I don’t know what’s the problem but the game just isn’t stable for some reason.😕

Are you using DLSS? it runs pretty smooth on my 2070 laptop, between 40-60, at 1080p, using the optimized settings in the guide, but it does hitch when new things have to load in. It runs pretty bad for how it looks imo.

50 series gpu's usually barely work mid settings for when they get released now its a bit outdated even cause its 3xxx series and cause its laptop its even weaker .. you get what you buy even on budget try to always get at least 60 variants if you want to play games

I'm playing it at 1440p everything maxed only motion blur off I got 90 fps but not stable sometimes drop to 70 fps I think because the unreal engine 5 luck optimization it's stuttering Edit : and I'm using tsr but I don't like it that much I hope they add dlaa or msaa x4 or x8 in the future

run everyhing on epic on my 49 inch ultrawide and get over 100 fps. didnt realize the 4090 just isnt worth the price

Question tho, why would you care for PC rendering 200 fps if you're on 2k+ resolution screens as the DP cable and ports themselves can only take x bandwidth n not even display that fps unless you go to lower resolution xD It's just freesync trying to translate it/make dummy frames to increase it. Besides 99% of humans are not actually going to see that fps especially without straining n killing their eyesight.

The only reason I'd care for 200+ fps is if I had a monitor that could support 240 haha. I always play with vsync since I'm usually above 120fps and I get tearing if it's off. I disagree that you wouldn't see the difference though! Even browsing the internet looks much smoother at 175fps (which is the highest I've used) over 120, so 240 would be awesome!

The game is locked at 240? How? I can not get above 120fps when I set it at "No Limit". and I have a 3090. How did you get the games fps cap so high?

Yes, vsync will limit your fps to the refresh rate of your monitor. Turn it off but beware if not running a good monitor you'll see tearing....

@@alcamedes I am asking if there is a cap like 120 FPS even when you select "uncapped" in the options? I can not get more than 120 fps! and I know my gfx card can give me higher fps! :)

@@chrisbenn well I tried both settings, with the 120 setting and then max, with the max setting mines fluctuating 120 to 150 fps all epic. Alienware laptop, 4080, with vsync on.

it's an ok game with lots of technical issues and many needed features,huge memory leak,and frame drop,here it doesn't matter because its a 4090 on a 13900 so it will work regardless,it's early accees expect least 30-50% improvement bef,just hope dev don't run away with the money and leave it

Theres really no ultimate guide for this. Ur literally using a 4090. For anyone whos low-mid range specs jst lower ur graphics settings/dlss performance.
