Hot oil, cook the fish 3 minutes, brown the fish and flip, cook for another 2-3 minutes. Best to serve with rice, salad or just add some dipping sauce.

OMFG!!!! Just had swordfish steak for the first time and used your recipe. HOLY CRAP ITS SO GOOD. I got a pretty nice sized sword steak but man next time I go to the fish market I'm going to get more. Such an amazing fish, I think my new favorite. So tender but raw and succulent especially with some fresh lemon on top, to die for.

I’m going to cook my swordfish his way but I’ll use some fresh squeezed lemon juice; and I’ll use a few sprigs of rosemary along with a few cloves of garlic, and butter.

Your method is nice but you should try to press occasionally on the thickest part when searing to ensure it cooks as fast as the thin part of of an uneven filet:
