This video was inspired by the KZfaqr and wonderful ambient producer Hainbach, whose video on the buyer's guide to dictaphones gave me the inspiration to go out and find one that I knew was in my house and experiment around with it.
In this video I use the Panasonic RN-404 microcassette Dictaphone, the Arturia Microbrute synthesizer, and a simple USB interface and mixer to experiment with some ambient techniques, and show off just how cool tape can be as an effect.
