I am usually awoken with a hot flash that rolls into a panic attack. I have started to immediately get myself into a yoga pose called “legs up the wall” in my bed. It allows for oxygen to get to my brain. It’s been shutting the attacks down instead of having to struggle through one.

This is brilliant! I had these for years and the only way I could calm down and get back to sleep was to have s protein snack. My favorite was s bowl of Raisin Bran with nuts. Thank God I don't deal with this anymore, but in my case I think it was definitely a combination of stress and low blood sugar. And I noticed it was worse at the time I was to have my monthly cycle. You are such a blessing!! This channel literally helped get through those last years of menopause! .And I am happy to say I am through to the other side and feeling like my old self again. God bless. ❤.

Very interesting. Thank you Aileen. I drink a small cup of warm water with a theespone of honey. I soon fall a sleep. I think my bloodsuger is low, because I don't use suger. I use very little amount of suger, since I was a baby I do not like to much suger, my mother told me ( from our family doctor). So sometimes a small glass warm water and some honey is helping me truly. I fell asleep like a baby😊❤

Thanks for the great info!! I started taking A. Vogel Vitex for PMS and menstrual cramps. Do you think it would help to sleep and prevent panic attacks as well? I'm 46 years old
@AvogelCoUk
@AvogelCoUk 4 ай бұрын
Hi Patricia It can take up to three months for the Vitex to show benefits so if it's going to help these symptoms, you should see the difference by then. You could also add in a magnesium supplement, approx 300mg taken with your evening meal as this is known to help with both sleep and supporting the nervous system
