I think we can all agree that the character of Davy Jones In these movies was one of the best performances ever.

Having this quote by Calypso "Many things you were Davy Jones, but never cruel." Davy Jones being cursed to the Dutchmen for 10 years saving souls at sea before being cruel heartless villain, his duty meant a huge role of good, before being betrayed then cutting his heart out. He abandon his duty to the sea, the Dutchman slowly made him cruel, heartless creature of the seas making him into the villain. This tribute gives a great understanding how tragic an villain past can impact on Davy Jones himself. Incredible work!👏👏

Vader, Davy jones, Tai Lung, Dracular, snape, all characters who wanted to be loved but lost that hope. None of them were born villains

I just want a movie (or a trilogy) of Davy meeting Calypso and becoming cpn of the Flying Dutchman and at the end of some struggle and adventure reach his ten year mark to come ashore and be broken to see she didn't wait for him as he was coming for her. It'd honestly be such a tragic story and maybe before credits roll it pans to Davy’s and then flashes to his current form with the tentacles and a cold heart.

Growing up I always loved these films 1-3 more and the Davy Jones ones were phenomenal still hold up even today and this villain my goodness scary but shows his heart with calypso and that scene in the jail's where he talks to her just shows you more depth to what turned him into what he became love this films always nice to see someone editing them still

I think he asks the same question he once answered for himself , he is afraid of death and thats why he chose power.

Davy Jones is a good competitor for the best villain EVER. Disney has always had the knowledge to ruin perfect things. The part where the English take control of Jones is the downfall of his great character. Until he breaks out. Then he gets ruined again. I hate Disney.
