Ti dono i miei ricordi,
Ti dono i miei ricordi:

I give you my memories,
the clear and sunny days
where we wandered on this little island
where time passes slowly,
so that it almost didn't seem real to us
live at this slow speed.
I give you a small wild flower
of this seaside place,
where its breeze remembers
myths and distant stories.
I give you a lucky charm:
a small white shell,
I hope you can hear the voice of the wind,
that wind that was my friend since I was a child,
that has never abandoned or forgotten me,
that wind that is always ahead of me waiting for me
because living is not just an opportunity,
but a necessary need
for this little lost and confused soul
from this too large Universe
for the mind and for the heart.
I give you my memories:
treasure it because this holiday in Pantelleria
he saw us happy and bright
but above all two children
with the sole desire to try to live.
