When I was training hard and heavy back in the day, this was the album that psyched me up. I long for those days. Damn, getting old sucks.

I never got a chance to see Pantera either, but I did see Down at Ozzfest in the early 2000's. Phil puts on a great show. Wish I could have seen Dimebag and Vinnie live together though. RIP Abbott brothers, you are sorely missed.

I got to see them in '95 in Omaha. Phil's voice was kind of worn out to some degree, hoarse. I was 20, my boss 25. My first concert. He had been to dozens & dozens. He commenting, I didn't think I was going to see so many 14-15 y.o. boys going insane, moshing. He was like : these kids are 14, slamming into each other. I've never smoked pot. My boss could smell it. On the drive home, I'm like I think I feel it, I inhaled enough 2nd hand.(contact high) When they turned the lights on in old civic auditorium you could see, the air was very thick with marijuana smoke😅

best metal band ever and the most tragic history. R.I.P. vinnie and dimebag. and so sad that phils outstanding voice often seems to be ignored because of this tragedy. all 4 of them unbelievable talented! what a tremendous loss

I am very picky about music BUT Pantera is the best metal band ever! Period!: originality, raw power, attitude.... incredibly tight & so much fun.

Pantera were always great for repping other bands. I also first learned of Crowbar because of this music video, back in 1994. This video also came out at a time where there were loads of overly produced/directed music videos, so to have something so raw come on MTV was really compelling, as a kid.

The first time I saw Pantera was in 1993. They were opening for skid row, and were doing small shows on thier off days. I saw them at a place that used to be a skating rink in Glen Burnie Maryland. I saw them a few times after that, but the first show was the greatest. Thanks for sharing.

Years later, knowing what we know now, I always figure "I'm broken", his back pain must have been getting bad. (maybe not, I thought in 'behind the music' it was mentioned that after Far Beyond Driven came out, and touring, he was already in a lot of pain). Didn't know til recently it was a ruptured disc. Damn, Phil. Herniated is bad enough. I've had 3 bulging for 19 years, haven't turned to H yet. The way he describes pain, and how you can't make someone else understand the hell you're going through if they haven't injured their spine. The days you're laying there, like a knife going in at the base of your spine, I don't want to be here, I don't want to wake up to this. Yep. I'm broken

My favorite thing is the guys all bobbing to this song. I don’t think I ever heard Pantera which kind of shocks me since all types of rock are my favorite genre of music. Did they come out in the 90s? I was a teenager and more into mainstream stuff then even with rock.
