Thanks! We have had our moments like anyone else but its never anything we can not get past. Considering we run two businesses together and are pretty much together every single day of the week doing video/photography, electrical contracting or working on our property' I guess we do fairly well. Even at our worst we are always trying to look out for the other guy. The last couple years Brian and his wife have been living with us since we are so busy and the land we are developing is only a short distance away from my home. He was having to drive 30 minutes every day to get here so we could go to work and then 30 more home. Just made sense for them to live here as it gives us more time to work each day. Plus we have both saved a pile of money by sharing living expenses these last couple years. Helps us maintain that debt free life we have worked so hard for over many years to achieve. Now that they have the baby on the way getting their house going and finished has become a priority. Having my immediate family close is important to me. We look out for them and they look out for us. I know a lot of people tell me they could never be that close to their kids nor work with them and would not want to. For me its the opposite. I can not wait till the day my grand baby gets here and when he starts getting around on his own so I can watch him chasing the chickens across the field or riding that bike for the first time and stuff like that. I can not wait to teach him everything I know. Gonna be some good times ahead. :) Terry

If your conclusion is that am wealthy because of the extend stay ( wishful thinking!!!, how I wish you were right in your assessment). If I were wealthy as you think, there would be no need to try to sell blades. I only paid a £100 or so for a one way train ticket to go 250 miles away from London. I've been staying, fed & overall looked after by my sister in law. It's not costing me a bean to remain. In fact it's very likely she'll be buying me a return when the time comes ( I suspect towards end of summer). Kind regards.

Thanks! Yeah Brian is 6'4" and I am just under 6'2". That cabinet is 73" to the bottom. The camera angle is causing it to look shorter than it is due to us being closer to the camera than the fridge. We left a little extra air space to help the fridge cool better. Terry

We had plans of doing a final video of the finished product. Then had a few changes we wanted to do. It never happened. :) Terry

We used Valspar from Lowes and honestly I was not happy with it as far as application goes. It was difficult to apply. It probably has a lot to do with non VOC and stuff like that. The finish is good until you get close then it looks a bit streaky I guess you would say. Overall its OK and everybody brags on how good it looks. I may be a little picky, lol. Terry

Been a good investment. We could still use more room though ha ha. Terry

The gap between the pantry and the cabinets next to the range is where we put our trash can. Its a tight kitchen like most so we just left that space as opposed to making a drawer for the trash can. Terry

Trash goes on the floor. Nothing’s stopping you from bridging the wall portion up top with cabinetry or the entire thing with wainscoating in the cabinet color to connect it visually. It looks incomplete.

@@rbeygarcia I failed to mention that the refrigerator door also opens into that area. Plus by doing it the way we did the counters on either side of the range are equal sizes which gives that area a nice balance. If the side you are refering to were longer it would change the entire look of that wall. We considered what you are saying but all 4 of us decided what we did would look best. Its to wide an area for me to be able to accurately show what I am talking about on camera. Terry
