THAT'S why the tips don't have handles! I was thinking 'damn i wish these had something to grab onto to push while it's slippery'. I bet that's why ine of ny fittings didn't take grease today.

What happens if the cabinet isn’t square? My cabinet at the top is 33 3/8 and the bottom is 33 1/2. Which measurement should I use?
@ForestToFarm
@ForestToFarm 12 күн бұрын
Could be a problem. You may want to go with a face mounted hinge. As far as the door size without being able to see it in person I would likely say go with the larger opening. Good luck! Terry
@crystalkeara8868
@crystalkeara8868 12 күн бұрын
@@ForestToFarm it is a framed cabinet. The top opening is 33 1/4 and the bottom opening is 33 1/2 at the opening. I’m purchasing a 1 3/8 full overlay hinge for the left door and a 1 inch for the right door because the stiles are different sizes. I’m going for 1/4 inch gap between most of my cabinets. Unfortunately my corner lazy Susan cabinets kind of throw that off. Should I just use the 33 1/2 measurement (the bigger one? I would assume I should add both of the hinge overlay measurements (1 3/8 and 1 inch) before dividing in half. Otherwise the doors would be different sizes?

I spent way too long searching for a perfect bending setup seeing how damn hard it looked to bend #4 rebar! I went out and used a magnet on my old 1/2" bender to make sure it was steel and not the aluminum, snapped it on and bent a 1/2" rebar like it was nothing! I would say it is about like bending 3/4" EMT as far as the 'pull' effort needed but it has been working outstanding. Then I just saw your video and agree, way too many acting like it's impossible without that four foot long $750 bender! NOT!

You're talking about tightening it to get it to stay on, but so often i see people take a trip that is as tight as it goes, even brand new, and just shove it on the zerk. In the long run it ruins them, and there's no adjustment to make it tighter

I have zero concerns. It’s done all the time. We have rebar property line markers that are 1/4 rebar that have been in the ground well over 50 years. Still there. Besides its not connected to the structural rebar. If it dd rust it will be a 1/2 inch hole going nowhere. I drill much larger holes in concrete during construction and its never a problem. Terry
