I'm 74 and I've seen alot of talented performers since the 60's and Paolo Nutini is right up there at the top of the list with artists such as Joplin, Morrison, etc.!!

I agree Bob. I think his ability to move from a ballad to rock n roll is amazing. I"m frrom the 70's and believe he is the best "new" music I've heard in a very long time. I just wish he had performed in a seated venue when in LA but I get it. .....

Seriously though, guys like this who are overlooked really are rare gems. There are many, Ryan Adams being one in the States,....Like Paolo, having such unique talent. (If I may predict, I see Paolo eventually waving back into his acoustic songwriting after kinda "proving" he can do this, too. But that's just my own vision. These songs right here already measure up to U2, and the big bands of the last 25 years, the talent comes out when the artist can quietly play it solo, with emotion, just him and his guitar, and we already know this cat can do that.)

Omg this is not my usual music I would listen too, I only discovered paulo today as my cousin had mention she was going to his concert, where have I been for the last 30 years of my life , paulo your lyrics and skillfully guitar music that you have produce in part with your lyrics are melting my soul you are unbelievable I feel so chilled right now thankyou for an amazing falsetto just beautiful ❤

Am I the only one watching this thinking the mix is a bit rancid? The whole thing sounds so dry - you'd expect a better job from Rolling Stone. Paolo's set at TRNSMT festival (it's up on KZfaq btw) sounded HUGE. Triple J's like a versions sound amazing from a studio set-up, but it says a lot about how crazy good a vocalist he is that even Paolo made that dry output sound as good as he did. Wild.
