It's happened to me a few times lol. It also works with the 8 ball and both can crash the game if used on Gooper Blooper, Pokey, and on a rare occasion it can happen on other bosses. It might be the animation of throwing a large model in the air that the game can't handle. Since Pokey has the second largest model in the game and Gooper Blooper has the third largest model with a lot of sperate modelled disjoints, and Mizzter Blizzard and last phase Bowser move nowhere when hit by the ball it works most often on Gooper and Pokey

I kind of liked this game when i was a child. I know that the RPG system changed, but man, this paper world and SOUNDTRACKS are perfect for the game. especially one thing i liked was the change to a paper/carton world. I have play this game when I was young and didn't see anything bad, but because I was I child I think... Today I still don't understand why it's so hated... I understand that sometimes things are not evident and you don't understand anything of what you need to do. We need mistakes to advance right? It's what happend here, next of this game we get color splash that was "better" because you know what to do, but without sticker star color splash can't exist because it get many elements from sticker star!

To be honest, I loved this game. I played it every day to beat it as fast as I could. It was the only Paper Mario game I had ever played. When The Origami King was announced, I wanted to finish Sticker Star so I could have a sense of completion. After I beat Bowser in Sticker Star, he became a piece of cake to fight. When I finally got mt hands on The Origami King a week ago, I was shown how bad Sticker Star actually was. TOK had a unique battle system and used actual items instead of throwaway stickers. Now that I've woken up from the delusion that SS was good, TOK is now my favorite Paper Mario game. The one thing I still like about SS is the final phase music of the Bowser fight. It tops all of the previous games, including CS, but I cannot say the same for TOK, since I have not completed the game yet. I'll get back to this comment when I reach TOK's final boss, since I'm going in spoiler-free.

You aren’t wrong there..Like I know gaming evolves and progresses, but I don’t really think freaking 2D Mario games ever need a solid story, just fun gameplay. For Paper Mario TTYD, I played it as a kid and didn’t really care for the story, I liked all the partners and the fights were funny, but idk the game was fun, it didn’t really need a story to be a great game.

@@beboy97 I felt the same way when I played Mario and Luigi Bowser's inside Story when I was younger. I never really payed attention to the story or the dialogue, I just wanted to have fun punching enemies in the face and burning them alive with Bowser. I guess as I grew older I started to care more about the story, but I only feel that way whenever I play an RPG.

This is a great game and unique in feel and execution. I opened all worlds without beating any bosses. I'm trying you get a lot of items and find the right combination to defeat bosses quick.

Not really there’s no real purpose to battling since you don’t gain exp for doing so. So there isn’t really a purpose to engage in the battle system barring bosses. The lack of an interesting party of partners with unique personalities also hurts the game. Its mediocre at best for the vast majority of the game with a few highlights.

I feel like if it was it would just be overshadowed by the m&l series (wich in itself might of not even started with out paper mario) and it just wouldent sell well due to some battle system flaws that mess up the experience (tho i dont think the game is the worst thing ever)

The boss I found hardest in this game was the Gooper Blooper, it may be tough because it recommends a Sponge thing Sticker but overall god boss because of the music syncing thing.

Color Splash's Bosses Is Basically If You Took Gooper Blooper & Made Him Every Single Boss (You Need A Specific Item Or "Thing" To Win For Every Single Boss Fight In That Game. But Black Bowser Is The Most BS Boss Fight & Then You Have The Roshambo Temples Which Are Also Filled The Brim With BS).

In my playthrough, I did nothing but stock up on a crap ton of high-level AOE hammers (Namely, Burnhammers, Baahammers and Chillhammers) and spam those for Phase 2. Though they all share a health bar, Bowser’s arms and head are counted as different targets, so you can wreak SERIOUS havoc with those.

Apparently there was supposed to be a rhythm boss in Cuphead just like Gooper Blooper. The pattern of attack was supposed to be synced to the music. It’s unused because the pattern couldn’t be changed when implemented, and of course, this would have meant that there would have to be different music for each difficulty setting.

toaMalafe if you use regular attacks, it's a pain in the butt. If you use fire related attacks such as 20 burn hammers, the boss battle is a complete joke.

I love this game a lot,it took me a while to figure out what to do in certain parts but that's what makes it enjoyable,but the part I really hate is that you gotta escape a giant fish that keeps ramming the raft while also have to turn said raft to avoid being eaten,I know I'm not the only person who hates this part,but it's so satisfying to finally finish it!! :D

Long story short, it's battle system is unfun and unrewarding in comparison to Paper Mario games that came before it. Sticker Star also lacks the creativity, unique characters and locations that those previous games had. Here, we have a bunch of Toads and Kertsi, back then there were plenty of species that were formerly Bowser's minions actually helping Mario out and having their own personalities and distinguishable designs, along with entirely new species that never appeared in other Mario games. In fact, the final bosses of both TTYD & SPM weren't even Bowser, nor did Bowser take much of a role in the main plot.

Emerald Gamer The main problem I have with this game is the fact that you will have to find a guide sooner or later.And let's not even talk about the final boss (that is, if you don't have the right Things/Stickers)...Music is awesome though!

Almost all of these bosses never really wanted to hurt anyone. The storyline of Paper Mario Sticker Star makes it my favorite game out of the mario franchise.

Have y'all ever tried a "No-Thing Run"? It's actually possible to beat all of the bosses without using any Things at all! I've tried it... But failed at Mizzter Blizzard.

I Remember that I wanted to play this game when I was a child, glad I still have this game. I understand that this may not be the best Paper Mario, but in my opinion it is really awesome. The graphics, the soundtracks, the bosses (I have an obsession with the Wiggler boss fight and the goopler one) This game Is not the worst and I don't think that there is a worst Paper Mario, they're all so cool!

damn that was 2 years ago lol. I don't know why I said that this was definitely not one of the best games I've ever played! Though it was a huge part of my childhood, being the first game I ever played. I remember as a stupid 8 year old kid I 100% the game and still tried to find more secrets in it, and spent pointless hours looking for stuff.

Same here. Except the last fight with magikoopa in 6-3 which sucks. Also what the heck is wrong with the final boss in this game? Why do people hate it? I’m not seeing anything wrong with it.
