A stark lesson in the visit to Wolf's Lair. I am of the generation whose father had three years of his life wrenched from him by the psychopath Hitler and even now I find it difficult to think of Germans without loathing - and my country was not even invaded. How much more must Poles feel beneath the polite veneer of today? Great trip and scenery. Squirrel dreys? Col, NZ.
