I flew it in reallife pretty nice experience. The guys at the militarytower were also glad to have the chance to practise

Did this in the 70s and 80 with an fpn 36 and the mpn 11..You are lucky to use a computerized display. Different world in a radar shack in the middle of the aerodrome . Great times respectfully.

Did this all the time in Goose Bay, Labrador. They had to do so many a month to stay current, asking for the PAR put you first in line

Wish they still had that up here.

Approach glidepath, correction approaching glidepath wheels should be down. Best glitch in the simulator

So an ASR approach is the same without the precision glidepath seen on the top of the screen?
@Capursley3 жыл бұрын
Essentially as atc asr is way easier to do in comparison
@scoot9175 Жыл бұрын
Yes, instead of "on/above/below glidepath" we give recommended altitudes each mile. Ex "3 miles from touchdown altitude should be 9-6-0"

What "correcting slowly" means? Is he too fast to approach?
@photoballa2 жыл бұрын
No it means he is coming onto the correct course for approach slowly.
