Same here. It was his in-depth videos of the Alamo an star fire that pushed me to make the buy. An I don't regret it one bit, I wish someone would have explained frt's like whisper tactical did sooner. An he seems as if his smart enough to be creditable, some people doing reviews just say the same thing over an over but he actually went in to detail, close videos an also THE GREAT VIDEOS IN USE!

Well I’d def go with the para over the Tac con just saying…Tac con is a competition trigger and is no way like the para nor the others

You won’t be disappointed I promise…clean every 500 or so rounds and you’ll never have caked on carbon and you’ll never experience failures…that’s a lot of cleaning for me but for the average shooter it’s not that bad

I wasn't aware he was doing one? I believe If you put a longer spring in the back of the tacon it will force a reset. It looks like a good quality trigger on par with the Alamo quality it looks like.

I wish I could afford the belt fed upper but I don’t have the cash to spend on that right now….mp5 triggers are being tested now, ak trigger was a thought and then they realized that there are way to many varients so they’ll have to pick one specific company and make em for that gun, p90 are not popular enough for them to do the work for..it would cost them a couple million dollars to set up and make p90 triggers

Thanks man and yea I’m sure itll be coming back out one day but I’d say not for the Alamo…I don’t know who the patent went to but I do know that rare breed sued him and then there was a provisional patent trade right afterwards so it only makes sense that rare breed got the patent to make their own selector setup

@@Whispertactical maybe you can talk empire trigger to come up with one. I’m not a big fan of the rare breed trigger tried one in my POF gas piston and no joy. Played with springs and buffer weights and still couldn’t get it to work. The Alamo trigger that a different story it work like a champ without any changes. I’m sure the para 15 would be the same

Try a little heavier buffer or a geissele super duty 42 spring and h1 buffer…I couldn’t get it to run on anything smaller than 10.3in

I've always ran steel ammo in my para set up an never had any problems, only time I've had any problems is when I swapped out hammer spring for PSG 22 hammer spring.

I can’t get mine to release on the first trigger squeeze. Installed it like it should and it won’t release. What am I doing wrong?

@@cherob1984 tyr doing it manually. Take the upper off or just unlatch it for the rear take down pin. Pull the trigger with one hand and push down on the release bar at the same time with your other hand. Keep doing that a few times and add oil to it. Mines was sticking to at first. If it works by hand than try it using the bolt dry firing.

Oh for sure it’s a mark 18 lol their all over gassed since you got about an inch of dwell time for the gun to cycle…but I can’t go any higher in weight on buffers because it stops cycling

Honestly, No it’s not gonna happen unless your able to slow the cyclic rate down even more by putting a tighter spring and adjustable gas system

I was having the same issues but I had to file my bolt carrier down a hair and use an H2 buffer, the grove the trigger runs in on the BC if you look it might be rubbing a little to much

No definitely not easy…youlll always do doubles and you can’t be accurate that way because you have to focus to much on pulling and releasing so fast that it makes you inaccurate

Homestly I’d take the Alamo over all of them but that’s only because I can’t get the selector to work with the para 15…many others have made it work but it didn’t work for me so that means I’d take the Alamo 15…however if I had to choose knowing I wasn’t gonna be able to buy the selector I’d go with the para because it’ll last as long as the Alamo and because the para is half the price of the Alamo

I’m gonna have it re-cored by Silencerco and then FDE it and put it on my Marlin Dark 4570 as a dedicated can because I put the FDE ranger point precision handguard and stock on my dark series so it’ll all match and because I got a surefire 556 can in jail along with a dead air mask, rugged obsidian 45 and a CGS Mod 9

Geissele super duty 42 braided buffer spring and the geissele H1 buffer…I’d say if your using a normal aero precision buffer spring then use an h2 buffer and it’ll prolly be amount the same as my geissele setup

Alamo 15 is the king no way around it, for the price being under half of what an Alamo goes for the para is a very good trigger an the roller locker set up will swap straight over to the para an the factory Alamo hammer an trigger will swap into the para so you pretty much can turn a para into an Alamo.

@@zacharygillette7810 Its the king until something is damaged or breaks. The roller is a difficult piece to remake vs the para's very simple fin that anyone can make with a laser cutter

@@dayton8282 the roller is super simple to make made one myself in under 30 mins. An actually the fin on the para is the exact peice that graves uses to hold the roller just not completely machined. The fin needs to be hard just like the roller personally I found it easier to find a drill bit the perfect diameter an cut a peice off an make a roller then cut a fin out an harden it or find a peice of tool steel an use a carbide cutter but who likes wasting $250 bits not me so I prefer to harden after machine work. I have both of these triggers so your not going tell me anything lol

@@dayton8282 the para hammer is also soft I'm getting a dent where it hits the firing pin it's getting bad that the sides of the hammer is starting to swell. I'm not sure if anyone pays attention to detail like I do, but when the bcg comes back into battery has anyone watched how the bcg contacts the fin? The fin is to tall an the bcg slams into it only about .030 interference but still. On both the para an Alamo they will last longer if you put a small chamfer on the buffer dent slot most people probably shouldn't do this tho it's super easy to take to much an start playing with timing (usually all these triggers are advanced an dropping the hammer around .0130-.0120 quarterbore calls for .0083 but .0090 safely it doesn't cause problems but the full auto guys worry about it so I do too. I've noticed that making sure my guns are properly timed has kept them from fouling as fast.

@@zacharygillette7810 Well considering the hammers are the EXACT same manufacturer with different finishes I doubt only one is having that effect without the other as well. And good for you for having two I guess lmfao. I've owned or tried each of them and while the para has the worse finish it certainly is the easiest to replicate and repair. The drill method that you mentioned simply won't work as the temperatures to tap and drill through one will completely destroy the tool temper it originally had if not ruining the entire piece in the process.

Everyone that’s tried it says it works but it didn’t work in mine…maybe something was wrong with mine but honestly I couldn’t get it to work

I’m getting close…it all depends on how hot you get the barrel…if you slowly put 10k rounds thru the barrel you should be good for another 5k but with what I’m doing I’d say I’m close to a swap

No I haven’t but I’ve done 300 blackout with every single one of the other triggers and they all work so I know the para will work if the guns tuned right

Have a Ddm4 pdw, comes with maxims h1 short buffer weight.. half the time it’s not locking the bolt all the way forward.. would really like to reach out and get your thoughts.

I’ve had 3…the OG one with 5k rounds broke…the AR12 I blew up with 8 pounds of tannerite in a video a while back…the newer AK12T1 I bought was absolutely terrible, I hated everything about the gun and it ran nothing like the OG so I traded it off for something else

@@Whispertactical I just got one of the latest tac con 3mr's It dosent function anything like yours, it does have a reset but it does not function like the one in this video at all, it came with a compliance card from the ATF, it's basically a gimmick trying to ride the coat tails of the forced reset drama, it was an expensive waste of money, warn your viewers. It shoots only as fast as you can pull the trigger, the positive reset might have a fraction of a second off your time but the stiff springs and 5# pull make it worse than a quality aftermarket trigger

@@spread4me75 I have a few Tac con 3mr triggers and I’m working on a review but I’ve told everyone not to buy one until I do my review on it…it’s a competition trigger and nothing more…it has an assisted reset but that’s it, it does have a disconnect so you actually have to let out on the trigger for the reset so people were upset about It

I would guess there's paper work at that company stating they sent a test one to you so if ATF raids that company they should find that paper work. I feel as if the ATF is just blowing smoke an trying to get people to act crazy then they can actually imply gun laws. Everyone needs to just keep doing wtf their doing an let this shit go in one ear an out the other, UNTIL we see a warrant for a frt alone. Once that happens I'll start taking it a little more serious.
