Sadly, I highly doubt it, at least not in MY lifetime (I am 62) . Unfortunately this procedure will not be within reach for MANY people as far as $$$ goes due to the high cost of this surgery and or treatments and follow ups. I truly hope hope this cost will come down dramatically in the future due to the hundreds of thousands who require this breakthrough! AND IT WILL !! Blessing those who need this type of surgery.

I am just reading this. I think it is a very good sign for him that his body was already responding on its own witchin a year. As if the sensors stimulate the surrounding nerves to build a new pathway ( bridge ) bypassing the injury. Nerves of various types do various jobs and copy themselves and multiply.
