Leo's mysterious disease caused his health to deteriorate and he ended up in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit paralyzed and unable to breathe on his own. Dedicated teams of healthcare professionals at Loma Linda University Health were determined to find answers. Watch Leo's story which was featured at the 2017 Loma Linda University Children's Hospital Gala.

Omg!!! My daughter has the same exact diagnosis!!! She has been in the hospital for 5 months! Thank God he has recovered!! God has blessed!!! This brings me soo much hope!!! God is amazing!!

This is motvating my fiancee is paralyzed and reading stories and watching recovery Documentaries it brings hope . I pray Daily for his recovery and it been hard since April 30 2017 and still remain in the hospital. Now he off the vent can breath on his own and now eating food and can now talk . I just want him to able to come at walk again . All i have is prayer

You must be going through a tough time, I can't imagine life without movement. You only miss things the moment you no longer have them. So much we take for granted... Oh boy here I go again, anyways before I go sob about life, keep up because some day, looking at technology and the things we don't know about the incredible human body, you may walk again. And even though I don't know you and might never get to know you, I sincerely hope you'll walk again. 🙂

The title can be misleading for those who suffer from severe spinal cord injury next to the main causes of Lupus which is a immune disorder which is normally chronic with a host of sporadic physical impairments...🧐
