@ 11:32 Jerry, in this passage you're making a valiant attempt to explain how the Parasailor's wing works. Your explanation, 'Now the wing is curved, so the air takes longer to travel over the top of the sail (you meant 'wing') than it does to travel underneath the bottom of the sail (again, 'wing')', is not correct. What you meant to say was, 'Now the wing is curved, more-so on the top than the bottom, so the air going over the top of the wing has to travel further than the air going underneath the wing, but in the same time, to meet up at the other end. This means the air going over the top has to move faster. It gets stretched out, which creates a zone of lower pressure compared to the air under the wing. The higher pressure air under the wing pushes harder on the lower surface than the lower pressure air above the wing pushes on the upper surface. The net effect is the wing gets pushed up. This 'lift' helps keep the sail open and stable and also lifts the bow of the yacht. It's the same kind of lift that makes aeroplanes fly.' :-)

Excellent video showing how to fly the Parasailor, but would be nice to see exactly how it is rigged and trimmed.

Can this sail be furled with a top down fuler

If the weather was bad enough that it was bouncing him around like he suggested, then I’d suggest not using that sail.
