"On Monday morning, the sun shone across 40 square miles of battlefield, on which nearly half a million troops and 2,000 cannons were assembled: soldiers from France, Germany, Russia, Austria, Poland, Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands, and even Britain. This was truly 'the Battle of the Nations' ".

If i were a soldier witnessing general Bonaparte himself leading the charge into enemy canon, I would've been gladly to give my life for such heroism and leadership. We all possess greatness within us. Discovering it is the journey of life from boy to man. The music of bravery simply is a calling that provides choir for the beat of our own hearts as we march forward onto destiny's campaigns. May it provide you emotional catharsis yet know the true battle of self mastery must be undertaken alone by the single young man. The battle of life.

My god, the Polish cavalry which found the ford in the Beresina really altered the course of history. The bridge would not have been built otherwise. Leipzig would never have happened, if we consider short term, but who know what else. World War perhaps would have never happened? Impossible to say. But what's clear is Napoleon would have been doomed if he got trapped against the river.

That summer, Bennigsen's Russian army launched a surprise attack, hoping to encircle and destroy Ney's Sixth Corps near Guttstadt. Ney, outnumbered four to one, conducted a brilliant fighting withdrawal and escaped the trap. A week later, Napoleon caught Bennigsen's army at Friedland. Ney led a crucial attack on the enemy. *"That man is a lion!"* said Napoleon, watching his advance. Sixth Corps' onslaught shattered the Russian left, leading to one of Napoleon's most decisive victories. For all his flaws, Ney had proved himself one of Napoleon's best tactical commanders, and was rewarded with the title Duke if Elchingen."

Yes. I found this amazing music from there. Really takes me back to the ancient days when I feel I was a part of Alexander's army fighting alongside him to conquer the ancient world. And now that I've taken birth again in the late 20th century, I feel a little sad reminiscing about those old days of glory and get a little teary-eyed sometimes about not being able to witness the absolute conquest by my King Alexander, who happened to die when he was young. From all the loving troops of Alexander who rebirthed in the 20th century - "We Miss You".

Napoleon Bonaparte leading his troops over the bridge of Arcole, painted by Horace Vernet in 1826. Battle of Arcole was 1796, and it is believed that Napoleon did not actually lead the bridge crossing, as shown, but rather from "55 paces" further to the rear.
