Let us all remember that Ruby was a known abuser, while her husband, Kevin filmed, long before she met Jody. The two of them were like a mixture of fire and gasoline. Her speech at sentencing was ridiculous. She sounded like someone who was excepting a reward. I guess she thought she should be rewarded for admitting to being an abuser of her own children. Good grief.

Law was changed here in the UK last year, after the trial of Lucy Letby. She exercised her right to not attend her sentencing and now, the convicted criminal MUST appear at sentencing. It was already law here, that a defendant (accused) must attend court to answer their charges throughout the duration of the trial.

Just my thoughts...Ruby Franke needs to be served the MAXIMUM sentence! Totally child abuse, in my opinion. So sad about Harmony Montgomery! It breaks my heart too know what that child had to endure during her short little life. And my question about the Rust shooting...Did the armorer possibly have a conflict with the director? Just wondering if there was motive. Great show Josh! Thank you for all your hard work!

For some reason Harmony Montgomery's case has deeply affected me. More so than a lot of other child abuse/murder cases. To think of the absolute terror that little girl lived through on a daily basis breaks my heart. I hope her "father" experiences just a quarter of that abuse and fear while he is in prison and that the pos rots in hell when his time comes.

AWESOME Podcast, Joshua. Your voice is a pleasure to listen to ... besides your knowledge / wisdom etc. 👌👏 BTW Joshua, if your jacket is new, my advice is that you return it, because as a Menswear Clothing Designer in my day, that ''accidental" pucker on the left shoulder seam, is definitely considered a reject. I urge all men (and women) to double check the shoulder seams on jackets, because faults like that are rather common. 😢

I am not crazy about the # of years is open ended. These two are friends with some very high ranking leaders in the Mormon church,Jody was on the list of marriage therapists the church recommended. They had multiple complaints about her for 15 years ,they even hired her after she got her license revoked & later reinstated .Who knows if the parole board is made up of Mormons as well ? Jody bragged to patients that her 6 million $ home was paid for by the church for fixing screwed up LDS couples. This case is so much deeper. Jody was involved in the same side beliefs as Chad Daybell about children being dark or light.

Gutierrez was the armorer! Why was she not in control of the weapons at all times? I am a gun enthusiast and I would never have guns and ammo strewn about in the way it appears it was. Baldwin should have been able to be confident in the fact that there wasn’t live ammo in that gun. Why would there be??? 🤯

Adam Montgomery should have his sorry behind dragged into court for sentencing. He should have been made to attend the trial too since it was more than clear that he was guilty of abuse and neglect at the very least. The victim lost out again. Why do the perpetrators have all the rights. The law needs to be changed.

Hi Josh - Your own KZfaq channel is great! I hope a lot of people subscribe!!! I have a feeling Ruby will spend a whole lot less time than Jodi. But, the plea deal is wild to me. In Utah, the max sentence is 30 years. By the Prosecution dropping 2 charges, it really had no difference on their total time that they could be sentenced. Maybe this will go towards a good faith when they go before the Parole Board?! I’m just glad the kids are safe. Honestly, Adam Montgomery (in my opinion) doesn’t deserve the air we breathe. Adam is such a coward and couldn’t even show up to hear what HIS ACTIONS caused! RIP sweet Harmony ❤ - The Rust case is CRAZY! I’m working with an air pod in my ear listening to this case. 😂 I never knew guns were so intricate. At least I am learning! Have a fantastic week. 😊

Kayla got one hell of a deal. Its honestly disgusting. She knew there was a dead child being stored with them wherever they go. She didny protect her children from being right next to their sister being beaten to death. I think that Adam not showing up, shows you how much regard he had for his five year old daughter HARMONY. It should reflect on gis character and should show that if he had any remorse or conviction that HE did not do this then wht not show up for Harmony? Ruby and Jodi should ve sentenced to exile island and not allowed to be around people anymore.

I would truly, truly hate to see Alec Baldwin skate with no responsibility for what happened. No one should ever handle a weapon without checking to see that it was loaded, unloaded, or loaded with the proper ammunition. I do believe he reflexively squeeze the chip Jager on that gun, without checking the weather at all. And he blew off training classes. I guess he thought he was too far above set things. I really get aggravated when famous or rich people. And are given taps on the wrist, because of their influence and money, when they deserve far more. His attitude has been cavalier and dismissive. He definitely bears some responsibility for what happened, and should receive it just punishment. Money and fame should not buy freedom to do whatever one wishes.
