To be fair, she didn't. We literally see the conversation in which Paris literally says "I know this isn't something we've ever talked about before." and then went on to say she would get punished and gaslighted for trying to trying to call/tell ger parents. If parents wanted their children abused, they would do it themselves. This is in NO way me excusing Kathy or any parent sending their children to these torture camps.

How do you go through life knowing that your parents didn’t protect you., and they still don’t have any remorse? How does Paris still have a relationship them and allow them in her life?! She is so admirable, strong and courageous. I pray she finds peace and has a wonderful life moving forward.

my eyes are so widely opened after watching this, i have the highest respect for her now, she has let everyone see who she really is, taking off the mask and saying ‘this is me, this is why i made this character, this facade, this is my scars.’ she is owning it, taking her power and lostness back. there will never be enough words in the world to describe how beautiful Paris is, her heart and soul and mind is just pure softness and sweetness, and she is shining strength. watching her documentary and hearing her real story from her mouth, it's taught me that we should never ever judge what we see on the outside, because there is a real human inside going through storms that we can not even imagine or comprehend. ❤️

The literal opposite of a “nepo baby” is someone who is truly born with nothing. Her family name, wealth, and contacts opened a lot of doors for her in the modeling world, the entertainment industry, and even just among the Hollywood/NY elite party scene. She had access to exclusive parties and clubs at such a young age because she was a Hilton. I like her and she does have a lot going for her, but don’t get it twisted. Nobody would know who she is if she wasn’t a Hilton.

While I know this comment will just be buried under the 70k+ others, I just want to also voice my support for what you're doing. It's incredibly brave and inspiring that you're willing to not only risk your brand (not a risk, but a huge positive in my opinion) but to be vulnerable on a very large and public stage. While I never experienced what you went through at Provo, I did have childhood trama that has shaped my life as well, and know how hard that was. Thank you for being a voice for all those who don't have one.

@@galaxys6071. True, but so is every documentary. So are many groundbreaking journalistic pieces That doesn’t always mean there’s nothing factual in those stories. Everything that is viewed by the public has to be produced, to be aired. Not all documentaries are fabricated, just because they are produced. Thats like saying that because certain concepts are socially constructed, they are false and serve no legitimate purpose…a common logical error. Can social constructs be questionable? Sure, but not all social constructs are problematic. Childhood, as we know it, is a social construct, but most people in Western society believe children should not have to work for a living, or be treated the same way as adults.

Her audiobook is available for free under Spotify Premium and is a heartbreaking must listen/read. Admittedly, I wasn't a fan before but I believed the press's perception of whot they wanted you to believe she was, sadly. I can't fathom living thru what she did and becoming the icon and powerhouse she is now. Her story isn't over and it's already one of the best ever told and lived.

Sorry but I can't stand the sister. She acts like she knows her sister but she knows nothing she doesn't understand her and doesn't listen. She's acting like what Paris is saying is not so important and just not relevant. I don't want to start with the patents....

I hope her mother realizes that she still put all the “blame” for the schools treatment onto Paris when she said, “If I had known.” The only correct response in that situation is “I’m so sorry I wasn’t there for you.”

10000000000X you are correct. Mom needs to really confront what she and her husband did and make amends if they haven’t already. I hope they plan to speak out for other kids and families affected by this abuse. Maybe pay for their attorney fees or create a non-profit.

I'm glad she made this documentary. Like the saying goes "there's always 2 sides to a story" the media only tells u what sells, whether it is true or not. She is a very strong person, they all are to go to that and come out the other side. I really hope they are all free from the trauma they went through and I hope the school is either closed or has changed their approach on how to help rebellious children/teens.

I have seen this once before, and I'll be totally honest, I have a lot of respect for Paris Hilton. I'm only a year older than she is, but I've had the luxury of anonymity throughout my life. That may be the only thing she's never had. I remember watching "The Simple Life", seeing her on every gossip magazine cover, she was everywhere! Yeah, the baby voice was annoying, but it was an act, just like she said. It's amazing to see how successful she is today, building an empire on her own, being a wife and a mother, and, in my opinion, still a role model. Thank you for posting this documentary. I hope life gives you everything you want, Paris; I know you're going to continue to do great things by working hard and showing people how genuinely smart and mature you are. Sorry, I know this is super cheesy, but no one is going to read it anyway.

Ellen Degenerate won't let employees she sees every day look her in the eye, but Paris asks for the name of people she'll probably never meet again. The public made fun of her for years, yet she's still sweet to her fans and people who work around her. Didn't expect to think so highly of her after seeing this.

ziba my friend did her hair once. He’s worked on many celebrities and said she was the nicest he’s ever met. Also, look in the comments. I just read about this girl that said her aunt asked for an autograph for her niece while she was on the plane. Paris told the woman she could do better and to wait for her at baggage claim and Paris would give her a signed photo. Paris was true to her word and took out a photo from her luggage and signed it for her. I also read a security guy say that he used to work for her for a short while(not her official security guard) and ran into her at a restaurant. Paris came up to them after the restaurant sang happy birthday to wish him a happy birthday and that she remembered him. She quietly paid for the dinner for his entire table. I think she’s awesome.

@ziba exactly if they show a documentary of ellen in a couple of years this person will probably be like, "I can't believe I was so harsh to her". People have to understand humans are not black and white. They are both and the shades in between.

On another subject, I truly believe that Ellen has a big problem maybe related to her own upbringing, as she seems to exhibit some psychopathic behaviour. I think that Ellen is a cold, controlling person behind that facade of caring.
