Her original voice was chesty,full and somewhat deep and she already had a unique timbre, but the vocal trainers at YG must have wanted Bom to have her own distinct & unique voice as part of their branding. In 2ne1, Bom does a lot of vowel inflections, and she sounds somewhat throaty & strained. She was forced to have a high tone voice, which is similar to Rosé, but Rosé's voice is more chiompunk ish. Haha

In some rare/occasional point some of her pre debut voice still there when hitting low or center pitch.

No hate but i agree with you. Bom used to have a stronger and chesty voice than rosé until early 2011 that was her peak before she regressed

You’re talking a lot of bullshit here tbh. Rose was not forced to sing a certain way. As for Park Bom her technique just regressed, it can happen to anyone.

@@rondelmoore7130she definitely was, it’s nothing to be ashamed of. If you listen to her predebut vocals there is a lot of vocal depth but as she progressed it became more and more nasally. That’s not something that happens naturally, it’s a technique that you have to acquire and takes years of breaking habits to create a voice like that. Same as Park Bom’s, the base line was there yes but you don’t get that voice out of nowhere.

@@waiskuxx Thank you! Some people just say things just to say it without actually using their heads. Bom and Rosè were definitely trained to sing with a voice that’s not naturally theirs.

I don’t think that the quality has changed. It’s just that, she’s often out of breath now than before, maybe due to lack of physical activities (unlike during 2ne1 days, she always dances). I have observed this as well in her live performances, one of which I have watched personally.

Has something to do with her weight gain.. she has to catch her breath.. Once she loses that weight she'll be back to normal. Eventually she will because they've been practicing for 7 hours a day for their comeback.
