About Dr. Ryan F. Osborne:
Ryan F. Osborne, M.D. is the Director of Head and Neck Surgery at the Osborne Head and Neck Institute (OHNI) and is an internationally renowned expert in head and neck oncology. Dr. Osborne has developed a special interest for the treatment of parotid gland tumors and focuses on the use of minimally-invasive techniques in the care of patients needing parotid surgery. He has innovated many groundbreaking surgical procedures, including a treatment for accessory parotid gland tumors, which requires no skin incisions and leaves no facial scars.
Dr. Osborne completed a fellowship in advanced head and neck oncology under the mentorship of world-renowned expert, Thomas Calcaterra, MD, at UCLA Medical Center. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Osborne, became an Assistant Professor of Head and Neck Surgery at UCLA, and was awarded the Clinical Instructor of the Year Award for outstanding training of surgical residents. While at UCLA, Dr. Osborne collaborated with Dr. Calcaterra to provide their patients with unsurpassed surgical care.
In 2003, Dr. Osborne left UCLA to become the founding Director of the Head and Neck Cancer Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. In 2007, he resigned the position, dedicating all of his time to advancing the mission of OHNI and the Head and Neck Cancer Foundation for which he serves as President. The global mission includes: the creation of a center of excellence where patients’ comprehensive cancer needs can be delivered, to collaborate with internationally renowned surgeons to advance surgical techniques offered to patients in the United States, and the pursuit of unrestricted clinical and biomedical research projects to advance the diagnosis and surgical management of cancer patients. Under the umbrella of OHNI, Dr. Osborne has traveled throughout the United States, Asia, and Europe to observe and exchange ideas with other surgeons who have similar goals.
Dr. Osborne is a board certified diplomate of the American Academy of Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Society of University Otolaryngologists / Head and Neck Surgeons, and a member of the Triological Society.

Even Google agrees with what I say an acidic body is linked to cancer it's true. This poor lady was acidic down on the pH scale for so long being too acidic for so long you can die. That's why they put the pulse ox meter on your finger to measure the pH level in your blood if you're 80 and under they will hospitalize you right away because you can die. You have to alkaline your body with what you eat and drink. If not there's a great chance your cancer cells will grow in your body. Everybody has cancer cells is just whether they grow or not that could become dangerous and you could die. Doctors cannot tell you the truth not a regular doctor because they're ran by the government. You're not going to find a doctor that will push natural remedies unless he is a home pathic doctor. All regular doctors want to do is push office visits, surgeries and prescription pills so they get a cut and make money on you. I speak the truth I don't work for the government. Nor do I have a dog in the fight like the doctor does.

@TheMusachioedBrony
@TheMusachioedBrony 8 жыл бұрын
+Tyler Pinkerton I think what people don't realize is the unbelievable expense of running a clinic like these two doctors have. Yes, those expenses are billed out seperately, under "operating room", "medications", etc. But just the operating overhead must be extraordinary-the costs for office staff, cost and insurance on the building, malpractice insurance, etc. All these expenses are paid before the Dr's can draw any kind of salary from their work. Their billable hours are not just about drawing a salary for themselves-as small business owners, they come LAST in the whole equation. Her surgery took the entire day-from 6 am to after 6 pm-all hours the clinic was open, staff was working and bills were being accrued. I think before people go crazy in these amazing Dr's for being paid for surgery, they need to look at the bigger picture.

Unfortunately, not brilliant enough. Because they failed to do a proper ultrasound, and biopsy, her growth turned out to be cancerous and spread to her lungs. She died in 2018. The three months messing about filming for the show, could have saved her life had they taking the case on that day and operated within 24 hours. The delay, was due to contractual obligations, regarding the TV show, as well as the non-profit organisation spending ages before agreeing to pay for her surgery. My heart also goes out to her family. Doctors should never have let the growth get that big in the first place, and performed a biopsy years ago. The Cancer could easily have been treated at that point - instead now it's spread to her lungs she had no chance.

+Geny R. Yeah, I clicked over to the follow-up video too. It is borderline criminal what happened to her, you're right.. Did she have reservations about going to a doctor? Possibly. But that's no doubt a half-truth. In reality, going in and having something like that treated in the U.S. will financially bankrupt the average family. Instead they have tabloid TV shows like this where average "folks" can appear (half patient, half sideshow) and then arrange for some kind of pro-bono treatment, which the doctor (or doctors) use as a PR move to advance their own practices. Hopefully her oncology treatment is aided by the show and she makes a full recovery, but in the event she doesn't, you'll never hear about it on the program. That will only happen if she gets better.

I am 74. When i was 22 i was in a diner eating breakfast and i got a bad pain on my neck under the ear. Every bite i took was painful when i swallowed. Then all of a sudden it swelled up. I thought i might have the Mumps. So i went to the ER. They said a stone probably passed through the Parotid gland. They gave me an antibiotic and pain killers. Well this went on and on and every time they said the same things and gave me the same meds. Then in 2006 i went to an ENT. He did a biopsy (extremely painful) and said it most def was a Parotid tumor and it was 2 cm big. He said he was pretty sure it was not cancer but there was a lot of blood in the sample so he wanted to do another biopsy and i said NO WAY. He already took 2 the first time. I waited 3 yrs and I got another ENT and she was fantastic. In 08 she removed the tumor and gland. The drain and stiches and staples were sooooo painful. Eating was out of the question as when you swallow you see stars. I kept ice on it and that helped a lot.

+ princessUSA2. This is one of the most outrageous stories I have ever heard of. Not only did they just let it grow to the point were she became so disfigured, but they were wrong about it being benign!!! Seriously people?? In the follow up episode they show that when the tumor was sent to pathology it was CANCER!! It has now invaded her lungs and she is right now undergoing aggressive chemotherapy!! OMG-I feel so bad for this beautiful woman-how could the medical community have abandoned her, let her become so disfigured and now she is fighting for her very survival?? I just don't understand this at all!! I think right now she needs everyone's thoughts and prayers.

+princessUSA2 This story is shocking. It seems, that none of the doctors did an ultrasound or took a biopsy. Here in Germany, those are standard procedures for any unknown masses growing (with a few exceptions where other methods like MRI are used, for safety reasons). Simply looking at it will of course not allow a diagnosis. Even IF it was benign: once it starts growing, it has to be removed anyways.

My daughter was diagnosed with Odantagenic Keratosis, a rare form of Cancer. 5 rumors were removed. The largest, plum sized, was pierced, drained, a fistula was made in her upper gum to inject saline solution that shrunk it until it could be removed. In a few months it melted her cheek bone, wisdom tooth, by her 15th birthday. I'm so Thankful I found an Oral Surgeon that gave us this treatment as the first 4 wanted to remove her entire lower left jaw. I can't believe how the word, Cancer, affected her at that age. God Bless Milwaukee's Children's Hospital for her Recovery. She's Beautifully healed 10 years later. Although she needs twice yearly X-Rays, and a yearly Catscan, as the recurrence rate is 70%...

@@DP-jy2ge I'm n familiar with this case. Sometimes we assume without the complete story. I have a friend whose daughter was born with a heart defect. They were unaware of her condition. After the baby was home approximately 30 days she started having complications. Upon her returning to the hospital they were able to detect the problem. However their insurance didn't cover this type of surgery. We did everything we could to raise the funds. She passed away before we were able to raise the money. My view of the medical and insurance companies have and probably will never be the same. It's been over 30 years and I think about it a lot. How do you justify how we have money to help everyone from foreign countries even if they came here illegally . Yet we can't help our veterans, homeless , and seniors of our own country.

+G Boltlier If she is married to a US soldier, she would have to navigate their healthcare system. While usually, Tricare is not bad, there have been cases of really bad delays in getting care or finding specialists in an area. Sometimes it gets really difficult to navigate the system. You must rely on referrals from your primary care doctor and get approval for care in advance. It can take a lot of work, and persistence, to get treatment. For basic care, you cannot beat Tricare, but specialty care can be difficult if no doctors in the area will accept Tricare.

***** Dude, are you saying it's just fine to let that tumor to progress and to reach the size of a cow before getting treatment? "They just won't let her die because she didn't have money"? She is dying physically and emotionally since the day she discovered that tumor. If she were rich, that tumor would have been removed since day one. Now, because of the size, she will lose part of her facial expressions, and more complications.

Cosmetic surgery is free in Canada? And how long is the waiting list for elective surgeries such as benign tumour removal? Would the public system even operate on this to begin with?
@iceescape

Sadly, they had a followup and they did remove the tumor successfully without any paralysis, but it had turned into a cancerous tumor and had spread to her lymph nodes. It started out as non cancerous but in the years she wasn't able to have it removed, had become malignant. So now she has to undergo cancer treatments her family cannot afford, and also apparently the facial tumor has started to regrow. It really is a tragic story.

Good luck here in the USA - our insane public don't want coverage for everyone. That would be "socialism". Meanwhile people are dying due to not having money. Thank God Obama gave us SOMETHING to help with making sure everyone has some kind of coverage. They don't even want that. We have a very odd situation in America where we have brainwashed our poor to vote for the interests of the richest of the rich.

It was May 2016 when doctors told me I had months to live, but the worst thing was telling my children. My husband Dave and I decided to wait a month, until their exams were over, and when the day came, I was lying in bed. Matthew, who is now 18, started to cry, and Georgina, 20, said, ‘Mum, you can’t expect me to go to your funeral. Afterwards, I lay in the middle of them, holding their hands. I realized that I had so much to say to them but I didn’t do it immediately as we tried to keep family life normal probably a bit in denial. Then one day, just as I was arriving for an appointment at Princess Alice Hospice in Esther, Surrey, not far from our home, one of the nurses said, "Dr Harvey Herbal Herbs might do it." "Do what?" I asked. She introduced me to Dr Harvey, I explained My Pancreatic life Story to him and I was told that I can be cured of this disease, Only God knew that I never believe because all my hope was lot at this point. But when Dr Harvey make me Understand I pray about it that God should care me through his herbs because I have a lovely and beautiful family and kids. Two months after taking the herbal herbs I go for a check up and there where no sign of Pancreatic cancer. Is It that I'm totally cure? I ask myself until the Dr Confirmed it that I was cured of Pancreatic Cancer and even when i did the text again. I also learned how much friends and family can be part of getting well. Our circle of friends and relatives was an incredible support. I want to anyone suffering from Cancer to contact Dr Harvey via @drharvey_gram drharveyherbalworld.blogspot.com All thanks to him that I didn't give up on life. WhatsApp:+1 475 522 1289

As someone who suffers greatly with Trigeminal Neuralgia, it makes me so nervous to come across these videos. Thank you for always being very careful with those nerves. I wish the oral surgeon who did this to me would have been as careful with me. 😢 His negligence has caused me a lifetime of pain and years and years of no one listening or hearing me. To this day, I am on my own with this disease and at the mercy of whoever is working when I don't have any choice but to go to the emergency room. I only go maybe once or twice a year when it's so bad I would rather just be put down. That branch of nerves are indescribably brutal and merciless.

At the very least you should contact the board that registers him/her and inform them of what happened, which can be a way into a claim for you. I hope there is some sort of treatment to ease your suffering. My thoughts and prayers are with you. 🌻🌺
