If you have a Jacuzzi and the topside is flashing FL-1 code and the heat is not working ? This is your DIY ( How to Fix My Spa VIDEO ) In this video I will show you STEP BY STEP what to look for and check to figure out what is the problem and why the heat is not working along with TIPS on how to get your Jacuzzi heating and running again... Changing a Circulation pump or even the sensors doesn't take that much time if you still need a little more help I have 2 other video that show you a couple other things to check for to get your hot tub/spa up and running again.
As alway do not stick your hands inside ANY Spa or Hot Tub until YOU yourself see and shut off the Breaker..I hope I made myself CLEAR.

Hey Scott, It's Tony from Idaho. Thank you so much for your information and direction in diagnosing my no heat issue with my Tuff Spa. After performing the diagnosing steps you mentioned, I verified that the the heating tube and element were bad. I replaced the tube and things are working fine now! Thanks again!

If those heater wires were as loose as it looked that could have been a big part of the problem. Shouldn’t have affected the pump, though. Iv seen loose connections burn out boards especially on balboa heater terminals. Loose wires cause fires.

Totally agree, looking at the wires and the terminals on the board i'm leaning towards a loose connection, the connector heated up and started melting. The marks on the relay are from heat and or smoke from the burning wire/terminal.

Agreed, looks like a loose wire...it could have been the relay also...if it was a power surge the gfci should have tripped. Id test the gfci also... Ive had lightning storms that have fried circuit boards though...👍

These Hot Tubs are notorious for not tripping the breaker during a storm Had several dozen from this storm with the same problem it usually happens several time a year. Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING

Hey SM, Fellow Arizonan here. When I first turn the breaker on the display cycles through a bunch of 2 digit error codes before the circ pump starts and then shows the temp. After that no codes are shown and the tub works as designed. Is this normal?

Yeah that is your initial start up sequence when you turn the power on to the hot tub...

Hey scott, Fellow desert dweller here in chandler. The board in my spa pack needs to be replaced. Its a 137 MAAX SUV M7 made by Balboa. Is there a genetic board thatwill replace it or do i have to buy the exact same board? Thanks!

I have an older tub with a Balboa pack. The temp is displaying in C instead of F. I have triple checked the dip switch is in correct position. Any suggestions? Thanks.

You should be able to change it on your settings on the control panel...depends on the year...

@@barryklein6521 Yeah, I tried changing it using the dip switch but no joy. I was hoping you knew a trick to get it resolved or knew if it was a quirk with older Balboa boards.

Have an 03 tub with balboa m7 board. Is it normal for it to run on low 'all the time', even when i set it to economy mode? Only owned it bout a month and it wasn't run for about 10 years b4 I bought it out in Goodyear.

Check the filter setting... If its set on economy mode but you have it set on an 8 hour filter setting it will run for what seems like ...None Stop. Hope this Helps Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING Set the tub in Standard Mode on a 2 hour filter setting that should fix the problem

@spaman5440 got it! Was able to get into the settings and changed to f2, looks like it was default to fc. Thinking that's filter continuous. Turned off within 10 seconds of changing the setting. Life saver

It could mean that your heater is trying to heat up the water but cant because the heater element is going bad...Check your filter cycles and anytime its heating. But the pumps shouldent be running 24/7
