Joe Torre, together with his wife Ali, started the Safe At Home Foundation in 2002 with the goal of helping children impacted by trauma find comfort, healing, and support. Through our groundbreaking Margaret’s Place initiative, we create safe spaces inside schools for empowerment, education, and understanding.
With education as our foundation, within schools and beyond, we strengthen every person’s courage, knowledge, and resilience through tools, resources, and capacity building. We teach children, families, and communities to be the change, to embrace the shared responsibility of care and respect.
As we learn, grow, and help each other thrive, we’re cultivating a new generation of healthy, respectful relationships. We’re safer and braver, together.
