I had a huge herniated disc at L5-S1.Pain going down my leg was terrible. I was sent to have the shots. I had 1 and it did nothing. I was sent for another 2 weeks later. It took the doctor 10 tries to get the needle in. He said he was putting it in the exact same spot because he could still see from the first shot. He finally got it in. That did not help. I ended up getting surgery. Thst worked. Unfortunately it herniated in the same spot out the opposite side. I had a 2nd surgery. The pain in my legs are gone but have lower back pain. Then I found out I have a. Genetic connective tissue disease. Had to have a cervical fusion. I was treated with Opioids for 20 years. I wad able to function and had a good quality of life. Then the CDC guidelines took that away. It has ruined my retirement ad I can barley take care of myself. The genetic problem is never going to be cured and they took the only thing from me that worked.

My baby sister died from these shots and was paralyzed from her neck down!!

I have done this twice. Its life saving. Those on the show they don't know how painful it is. I thank God that there is such treatment. I am way better now, I can walk sleep, set, drive, with no pain. I am grateful that it works for me. Because the alternative was surgery. Which way risky than injection, in my opinion.

Have had many epidural injections that did help for a couple months,I have degenerative disc disease

Dr Oz I had leg pain when I walked. I did go to PT to no avail. I went in to have an epidural at the end of February 2022 and have not walked by myself since, please help!

They want me to do the same thing to see if the can get the disc to shrink and go back in. I’m not having it done I might as well go back to the first option and get the discectomy on my L4,L5 done

I have a herniated disc with severe leg symptoms and I was prescribed oral steroids with no improvements and then I received an epidural injection with no success. I am now being offered a dissectomy and a laminectomy. I am looking into prolozone injections. I honestly have no clue if they work of not, but I refuse to go to surgery without first try other methods. If anyone had prolozone injections for herniated disc please let me know how effective the treatment is. Thank you in advance!!!
