If I remember correctly, I Believe you Lost your Brother not to long ago and something about that baby being so Gleeful in your Presence just felt like a straight shot from Heaven. Very much enjoyed what began as a chaotic little trip and the keep the skates on you tip. No way this movie could end badly. Beautiful storytelling. Thanks for sharing.

Wish I would have bumped into you in Amsterdam. I have to tell you, it really means something when a Dutchman offers a lady a seat on his bike. Glad you had a great trip.

Girl!!! you forreal motivate me to get to the level I used to be. Your videos are uplifting on depresso espresso days and they’re inspiring on good days. You out here making the world remember how special women of color truly are. ❤ I have a question ive been meaning to ask you. If you get to it, YAY! If not, no worries. Basically; I skated indoors for 10 years straight, 3-5x a week. Jam plugs & roller skates only. when I turned 19-20ish I stopped until I was 28. Other than balance and a few moves, it’s like everything that was once so natural was completely gone! Now I’m 29 and it’s been a year since I’ve gotten back into my skate. I still haven’t been to a rink because there’s none around here. I have had to learn to skate outside which may be why this process isn’t as easy as it once was. I see that you seem to mostly skate outdoors, aka places that are not a zamboni-d, waxed, hardwood floor. Do you have any advice regarding getting back to the level of comfort/skill that I had after 10 years of skating indoors, now that I only have outdoor spaces to rely on? Anything you got is appreciated! I miss being confident in my skates. Now I feel like a toddler who knows how to walk but is still struggling to run.

The last time I went from Amsterdam to Berlin, my pack was stolen before I left from the train station. It’s tough. All new vacation clothes made me feel … different.

😭😭 you where here in Amsterdam? Wish i would have met you 😢 youre the reason i bought skates. if you ever come back try skating in Noorderpark, its 1 stop with the sub from Central Station. That park is a chefs kiss for skaters.
