Training to failure then half repping at that bottom range of motion is one of my favorite bi exercises, highly recommend

@@έχει don’t do full ROM on those half reps to prevent any form of bicep tearing , the form may even breakdown but as long as there’s constant tension you should be good to go

Same, i did this for few months while my friend who always trained with me did full range and I literally got double his gains I thought it was all genetics..

I noticed my jacked friends saying to do full ROM but then only doing partial. I think it comes down to that but nder partial you are more constantly under stress. Benching all the way and locking actually gives part of your chest a rest, similar to squats that go absolutely all the way down or up. There’s a reengahent which may be valid in itself, but pause under load and reverse and stay in that full pump is beneficial.

Do partials with full ROM form… integrated partials. That’s what I do. It also helps for hypertrophy based cycles and keeps you honest with your weight as form > weight especially if you’re going for 12-18 quality sets a week per muscle group
@douglasachaiba7885
@douglasachaiba7885 Жыл бұрын
It's loading the muscle in the stretched or lengthened position... It's actually the harder part of the movement .. and does cause more hypertrophy. I would use on a last set of an exercise after full range.

Just train to failure with full rom and then do partial reps after.

That's just basic biomechanics, the length of the lever your muscles use changes throughout any motion. Which means for most lifting the bottom half movement has a worse lever than the upper one which is the same as using more weight in the upper part.

I loved that you put Branch Warren in this video of explanation. He's with Jay one of my favorite bodybuilder. Often ways he's criticized because of his "form" but that's just the way it worked for him. I mean he was secound on the olympia stage ik 2009 next to Jay who was bringing his absolute A game. If Jay wasn't there he would have been MR O 2009. Damn. I am so hyped when I see Branch training. I know this could lead to a discussion about roids - but I am not here for that. 😂 Very good video mate - on the point. You got a subscribtion.

Obviously do this after your full range of motion reps, bang out partial at the end when u can't do the full reps anyway.

I’d do this after I reach failure tbh not saying this is bad this is true for sure helps push past failure but I think doing full rom reps and then partials is the best way to do it that’s just me tho

The quad muscle insertions goes all the way from hips to your ankle, so on the bottom part they have longer strech.
