Partnering with NetJets to grow sustainability in private aviation

We're thrilled to be teaming up with NetJets as we work together to add a fleet of Lilium Jets with zero operating emissions to their fractional ownership program and explore partnering on flight operations in Florida as well as other regions in the US and Europe.

one of the major key's to seeing these aircraft do well is very much dependent upon the locations of the vertiports. Its obvious that evtols will operate out of normal airports as well, providing connections to major airlines. But more important will be their proximity to prime destination sites. for instance, imagine a vertiport on siesta key beach itself. or a location in the village. to provide close proximity is key. it is why these aircraft are attempting to reach extremely low operational noise. To service direct to zones where aircraft could never normally venture. The utter convenience to fly directly to a venue is priceless, peak luxury. We already know much of this experience by way of taxis and in places like NYC, the subway system. but in the case of flight, it's the exclusive world of chartered flights. evtol opens this world . As a trouble free hastle free ride service. Imagine a vertiport on miami south beach. talk about flying into town to have lunch and in less than an hours time flying back to work to finish off the day. it all can be just that convenient. As mentioned people do it already with chartered flights, but the problem is flying into airports, far and away from ones destination. this is just the opposite. As he said, the value is in that last mile. Its not to say you still may or may not need an uber, to cover a short trek, but it is to say that not only will it be possible , but the convenience as such would likely see uber operating out of the vertiports themselves so you fly in. jump in your car and take it last last mile.

If the electric Lilium vehicle could actually fly and not just hover empty over the airfield for a few minutes ... all that after more than 6 years evolution! But still great ad for NetJets ... doesn't cost them anything and they become more visual ... nobody will ever ask them what happened to the ideas of working with Lilium.

So these are to replace jets? With what 7 people? What altitude can these actually go, and at what speed? All these tests are done on perfect days suggesting that need optimal conditions to fly.

Yes they are still developing, but I been fallowing them because of the multi engines. A few of them can fail and the design still has a very low chance of crashing. It's got many electric engines in the wings. It's a row of them.
