Gray Partridges were introduced to Alberta in 1905. the first 15 pairs were brought in from Hungary and that's why these birds are called "Huns" locally.
They have adapted quite well and they have a fairly stable population in the province. in winter time they can be found out quite easier after a snow fall. They dig the snow to get to the grounds and feed off of the spilled grain in the wheat fields and they can be spotted resting in their dug out or around the farm yards. Hope you enjoy the video.

are flying mounts any more or less difficult than standing mounts?

To do a proper flying mount takes a lot more time and more difficult. Because just spreading the wings Ali e doesn’t make them a flying mount.

@@raccoon3440 of course... If you watch more of my videos you will see that I card and tape them to the position I want for weeks.

Sir may I know What kind of paper strips used by you to set feathers of this bird ..?? Can you make a sweet and small video if possible specially on setting up features and how to pinup and how to set naturally ...

Dhaval Kansara painters tape with some proper size wire. You have to make them.

Hello Sir, I often watch your videos. I have created a taxidermy that is pigeonholed and it becomes a bit odd. I have only been able to make two so far and have had some problems such as shrinking of her eyes and legs and beak. What is the solution for this, I wish to learn this art and well if you want. Would like to learn from you thanks

Indian pigeon lover cg don’t disappoint yourself by trying difficult specimens. Doves and pigeons are not easy birds to practice on. I suggest you practice with birds like Crow, magpies, pheasants or even farm chickens. You need some chemicals to inject in their feet to stop shrinkage.
