Hey and thanks for the comment, the brand's name is "far" and then just check the bar end mirror section you should find them :) you need small gloves/hands tho otherwise you'll hit them i dont rly recommend them

And consider subbing too ;). To answer your question: The caballero 500 makes 40hp stock and weighs about 150kg so i think its more powerful than a crf250, yes. The single cylinder makes for a beast on the twisty mountain roads and the hard suspension it comes with stock really help you corner in supermoto fashion. If i had to choose between a 250 and the caballero I'd go for the latter. Even better would be the newly presented caballero 700 with the cp2 engine, better in every regard than the 500 (maybe not looks-wise) I just recently sold my caballero 500 cause it had too little power when leaving the turns (at least imo) and got myself an mt07. I reckon that an mt07 with upgraded fork/springs is more fun on these mountain roads than the caballero and the mt09sp due to its grunt down low and sufficient power to blast out of the corners in a wheelie. Since i havent yet modified the mt suspension i cant say though.

Ciao Giorgio, grazie se ti piace perché non iscriverti? :) La ripresa è adeguata per una moto di classe A2 - non direi che ci sono tante differenze tra le solite moto da 40cv e circa 500cc, magari una moto depotenziata ha una ripresa maggiore in quanto depotenziata solo i cavalli massimi e non la coppia ai bassi giri, in genere la moto aveva una sospensione quasi troppo dura e nel 2020 ebbi un sacco di problemi (rimase dal concessionario per qualche settimana diverse volte nell'arco del primo anno di proprietà). Qualche problemino elettrico ce l'avevo anche una volta finito l'incubo dei vari problemi. Però è stupenda, davvero bella esteticamente e mi sono divertito un sacco, feci 20.000km in 2 anni e mi portò davvero ovunque. Con il mercato attuale sceglierei di sicuro il caballero 700 se ne volessi uno oppure una più grande depotenziata. Ormai l'ho venduto per un'mt07 con la quale mi trovo molto meglio, è più divertente come moto con quella coppia a bassi giri. yes i did have A LOT of issues after buying it brand new, then I sorted them out over the course of the first year of ownership, i regretted buying it new, should've bought it used with all the work done under warranty. My head gasket blew which is the dreaded "cylinder issue" youre talking about, i've had the overheating issue then they retrofitted the updated cooling system from the 2021 MY (mine was 2020 MY), the wheel alignment was tilted so I had problems with tank slappers happening at 120km/h, however this was resolved on the first tyre change. My front light (just like all of them there's no solution) had condensed water inside, which can be resolved under warranty but it will continue happening on all the front lights. Also the high beam indicator light comes on when the bike gets wet (which is more of a quirk than a problem tbh as nothing happens). I had my fair share of problems, all resolved within the first year and under warranty or by finding out what the problem was myself. If you find a used model with all the problems sorted out i'd reccommend getting that, or the caballero 700, maybe they fixed some issues but i dont know, sorry.

C'è il modello più morbido che dura meno in strada adatto al uso in pista flat track e poi c'è il modello highway che montavo io, più adeguato all'uso in strada. Purtroppo non si ha scelta di gomme con la flat track.

In effetti, ho avuto problemi con la moto, l'ho presa nuova di zecca e poi per l'intero primo anno ho avuto problemi di vari tipo, il mio modello tuttavia era una E4 quindi alcuni difetti di fabbrica non erano ancora stati risolti. La moto scalda moltissimo e infatti anche questo era una fonte di problemi per la mia moto, risolto con il richiamo che prevedeva l'installazione di una ventola sul radiatore. Secondo me ormai non c'è più motivo per cui prendere la caballero 500, c'è la 700 che è esattamente quello che io cercavo dopo 2 anni di caballero 500: 76cv, bellezza estetica, leggero off road ecc ecc. L'unico problema è il prezzo di 10k€, la 500 l'ho presa a 6k€. Se ti convince la moto prendila pure mica tutti hanno le stesse aspettative a una moto di me. Io non tornerei indietro, la mia mt07 è superiore in tutto tranne estetica e sospensioni. Se la prendi e la guida a prescidnere dalla città ma tanto di più in Spagna guarda se la ventola sul radiatore è stata installata (se è un modello E4) e anche che la guarnizione della testata è stata sostiutita (altro richiamo della E4)

l'ho piegata di brutto e guidata come un motard con il piede fuori e spostando il peso nella direzione opposta della curva, massima stabilità con quella forcella mega dura e le gomme larghe, assolutamente ottima in curva e non agile ma AGILISSSSSSSSSSSSIMA!

Non ricordo bene quali erano ma tra questi due cambia poco: sono belli ma non li consiglio, col tempo iniziava a ballare il vetro dello specchio e a causa delle vibrazioni dovevo ripetutamente stringerli, poi sono anche costosi (ma omologati). Inoltre non potevo usare guanti grossi perché toccavano lo specchio quindi pure li ero limitato. Hey, I sold the bike this summer and got myself an MT07, i like the additional power and torque it has, however I miss the stiff suspension, the MT's is really garbage... :) the caballero is fun though dont get me wrong! =) had it for 2 years

There are but the law doesn't allow motorcycles on them so you'd risk a fine if it's a public road

yea! 1st reason is to protect wildlife, 2nd reason is to protect the trails themselves and 3rd reason is the many hikers that you would have to share the trails with. We dont have open plains or long winding forests, the mountains are so close and the valleys so narrow that space is very limited and the few hiking trails / forests that we have are to be let alone for "nature protection reasons" as the law states. Im saddened as everyone growing up in the 80's could ride bikes on these trails, nowadays you cant anymore.. @@varmastiko2908

@@25LeSSLY Observation and road positioning could be improved. You’re getting surprised by traffic coming in the opposite direction. Keep tighter to the right for right handers - never put your bike or body across the centre line unless you can clearly see there is no oncoming traffic. Have fun, stay safe.
