I spoke with the wife mother, and she avoid a lot I had to say about this being done to her daughter. I pray Tamia doesn't stay in this marriage . God is not about no mess like this . She actually followed him to Atlanta with the boys. I told her mother she should try and convince her Daughter to return back to Ft Lauderdale with her community of church family and friends and let Dwayne walk alone. If she choose to stay it's only going to make matters worse for her. Tamia got to save herself and those children. She has her own resources to survive without depending on him. The man is gay and it is what it is .

This is what I say all the time: It's a difference between apologizing because you got caught in a sin versus apologizing because you are convicted by the Holy Spirit. I feel Price was genuinely sorry for what he did, stepped down, and was restored. It looks like Dawkins only apologized because he got caught in his wrongdoing.

That "apology" letter was his putting his big toe in to test the water. He saw he still had approval and moved forward. He's still out of line. I pray they've gotten tested!

I commend Pastor Fredrick Kenneth Price on his position of humility, repentance and restoration, he did it correctly.

That shows a contrite heart and a humble spirit. Pastor Price Jr. was concerned, and rightly so, about the name of Christ and how certain types of conduct could cause a reproach against the ecclesiastical Body/Church. Confession, contrition, and Godly sorrow will lead one to show true repentance. I admire Pastor Price Jr for his desire to put God first, to step aside and give himself appropriate time to reflect and come correct before God, the Church, his wife, and the public. That is what a true shepherd will do if he cares about God's flock. Getting things back in order could require the pastor to surrender months to years away from the pulpit to give God the time needed to reshape, remold, and restore one's character back to right-standing and proper fellowship with God. There's a whole lot in there to be unraveled if the pastor agreed to have himself filmed in a sexual act with another man. He had to have completely understood what would happen to his life once it was released to social media and yet he STILL couldn't help himself. He needs in depth psychotherapy. As to his sudden return to ministry...it reminds me of a line from Ice Cube's song "Tomorrow." It goes, "...cause he got to eat, ain't nothing taboo." It may not be a moral decision as much as financial one.

I am a chaplain and supervisor for my chaplain organization . I supervise 12 headquarters with approximately 500 chaplains underneath those headquarters and our headquarters are spread throughout the MidWest. I just fired a Chaplain last week for doing the exact same thing that this Pastor did. This former Chaplain actually got mad at me for enforcing our Faith Statement. Whether it is Ministry or being a Christian we must obey the Lord no matter what.
