Very yummy cutlets made with all the healthy vegetables and spicies. I do not know about Indian Railway but we make them at home or eat them in the shops with different vegetables. Your way of making them is very nice. Thanks for sharing. New friend.

Very nice I am a vegetarian and like your tutorial on this cutlates it's diffrent most of the ones I seen are made with just chickpeas onion celentro ginger and garlic. And potatoes. Yours are worth the try and has a lot more vegies.

I still remember the taste of the cutlets wr had on the Punjab Mail while travelling from Bombay to New Delhi in the 60s. Never tasted anything like those anywhere again, not even in the best of hotels.

Just to let you know....I tried these cutlets...were a real hit....with my husband and kids who are usually allergic to anything vegetarian. A shout ou to the rest of your subscribers...this is a must try recipe.

Veena am back after a really long time, I did try out the cake, but I know I made it for my sisters birthday on the 14th of May 2023 and it was a hit, my brother in law is very choosy but I was surprised when he kept asking for more and more and told me it is really good but I have to check which cake I made, will check veena am sorry did not get back because my frozen shoulder has been bothering me a lot and am in no mood.

Veena those vegetables were chopped in the chopper. Looks so good. When you have more time please show how you went about using the chopper. Did you use only the flowers of the cauliflower or the entire piece. Did you also do.likewuse for french beans. Was the best raw or cooked. Want to know everything to turn out the delicious cutlets that you have demonstrated

Larry, I chopped the cauliflower and other vegetables into medium size pieces and then put them in the chopper. The beetroot was raw. Veena I remember reading a couple of days ago about chicken cutlets with vegetables, I do not seem to find it, what is the correct name, as my grandchildren will be visiting and I am sure they will love them, can you give me the correct name please, thank you very much.

Rita, I've never used garlic powder before, so I don't know how potent it is. But for ginger powder, the quantity can stay the same as for fresh ginger. Perhaps you could keep the same quantity for garlic powder as well. All my measurements are for level teaspoon, tablespoon, cup, etc.

Happy to answer all your questions, Larry. I've been using the Pigeon brand handy chopper for almost two years now. No problems and very simple to use. The nylon rope too is very sturdy and the product is also very economically priced. But I don't know how you got connected to the larger model of 650ml. I'm using the smaller more compact 400ml model. The link I've given should connect you to this smaller model. Also, amazon shows it's available in Mumbai where I live. Yes, the cutlets can be stored in the fridge and fried later on in a day or two, Josephine. But if you decide to freeze the completely finished cutlets, then, going by my experience, I would suggest that you shallow fry them later on rather than deep fry them.

Its time I need to buy a cooking oil and I was thinking of sunflower oil which is organic, is this oil ok to be used in cakes as you use oil most often, I think last time I used coconut oil as this was the only oil I had but you did not approve of the same but I had no alternative, I had mustard oil but this I would never use. Today I need to order oil and was thinking of sunflower oil, is this ok veena, tku and sorry for not giving you the update on time, but I will let you know which cake it was that was a hit.

Rita, you could use any refined cooking oil that doesn't have a strong smell. Sunflower oil is absolutely OK for baking cakes.

Veena I went through the recipe where it is mentioned thick and thin pohe, first I want to confirm if it is powa and I will need to listen to the video again, I think the 1 cup is powdered and used for rolling the cutlets and the less qty was to mix in the dough

@@Larry-qf7lw , we use only thick pohe (also called thick powa or fov as they call it in Konkani). No thin pohe or powa is used. The thick powa is ground to a fine powder in a grinder jar. You need to grind 1/2 cup of powa for adding into the cutlet mixture as a binder, and grind 1 cup of it for coating the shaped cutlets.

I made them yesterday but it FAILED... I know the reason... But ii thought I sh share this with you for the benefit of other viewers who may be beginners. My first mistake could be: NOT ADDING BREAD CRUMBS OR POHA OR BESAN OR CORNFLOUR OR BREAD TO THE MIX. SECOND MISTAKE COULD BE: ADDING LEFT OVER CABBAGE PARATHA FILLING FROM THE FRIDGE WHICH MAY HV MADE IT MOIST.. when I frid them after coating with slurry n rolling in store bought bread crumbs they disintegrated..

Sorry to hear this, Seeta. But , you seem to have guessed correctly why your cutlets fell apart. If the mix is not firm enough, and is too moist, the cutlets won't hold their shape. With no binding agent added and a moist paratha filling mixed into the cutlet mix, this was bound to happen. Please follow my recipe exactly and I assure you your cutlets will turn out great.

Well. some recipes are naturally longer and have more steps and therefore take longer to present, while some are quicker recipes that have easier steps and can easily be completed in lesser time. But in general, I always try and do the best I can to reduce the time. But not until I've conveyed all the useful information I have for my viewers. As of now, the only way I could make my videos even shorter than what they are would be by increasing the speed at which I talk.
